Upscale Luxury Cabin! Has it all Hot tub, Fireplace, Gorgeous Views!!!

Clean place with a great view of the hill country.

Kitchen is sufficient, but if you do chef level cooking you may find it deficient some pots, pans, etc. though sufficient for base level cooking. All else is great for intimate time with your loved one. Because to heat up the hot tub in advance of use. Takes some experience with the controls.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this cabin. The only reason we aren't giving it 5 stars is due to all of the electronics being unplugged, so we couldn't get the sound or the dvd player to work (not tech savvy), the mattress is worn and feels like you are rolling to the center of the bed constantly and the yard was being watered with what smelled like straight sewage water the morning we checked out. We do plan on coming back and staying again someday though! Thanks so much! Highly recommend this cabin!

This place was really nice. Great view and location that was secluded and quiet. Getting to the cabin was easy if you use the map in your confirmation. The only thing we didnt enjoy was the bed. It needs a full upgrade! The mattress was too soft and felt like it was sagging. Neither my husband or I slept comfortable. If they upgrade the mattress it would have gotten 5 stars. The cabin in general could use a little love and updates. We loved the huge shower. Kitchen has everything to cover basic needs but having coffee for guest would be a nice bonus. Check in was easy and we had no issues. Its a nice place for a staycation if you want to get out of Austin for a nice quiet weekend. The drive into town was close enough to drive for a night out for shopping and dinner.

It was probably my limited knowledge of the hot tub, but it was difficult to manage. We did enjoy the experience after getting it going. The property is beautiful and secluded and that was what we wanted. The cabin is beautifully built and furnished. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Short trip to Wimberly.

Hot tub was not enough. AC worked great. A few items missing in the kitchen.

Booked this rental for the weekend and absolutely loved it! The house was very clean and was very spacious for being a one bedroom. The views were beautiful. There were not pictures listed of the bathroom but it was very big and loved the stone shower! We hope to book this rental in the future and would love to revisit this cabin.

Great cabin in a very secluded area. Plenty of space, wonderful deck with amazing views and the hottub was a big win.

The cabin had great views! I felt like the picture on the website could have showed a better location of the hot tub, as it was down under trees and we could not use it the first night because it rained. I have attached better photos. The Ruby cabin we stayed in was right next door to the other cabin on the property with a few trees in between, but luckily we did not hear the other people in the cabin and both cabins are on a secluded lot. Other than that, the cabin was clean and had been well taken care of. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was very clean & is a place with a country atmosphere. A great place to get back to nature & the views are incredible. The porch area was a great place to sit & have your morning coffee & listen to the sounds of the roosters. If you need a place to get out of the hustle & bustle of city life the Ruby Cabin is the place to come. We will definitely be back.

This is a really cool property, secluded (although there is another cabin nearby, it's not intrusive), and the views off the deck are incredible. The hot tub was sparkling and we really enjoyed it. What is lacking to make this place really special are the small touches - board games, books - and the kitchen is a real hodgepodge of utensils and cookware, making it really hard to really cook. A bit of generosity with supplies (1 extra roll of toilet paper for 5 days? 1 extra trash bag?) just detracted from what should/could have been an exceptional experience.

It was a great stay over all. Wonderful and peaceful view. We were comfortable except our first day when we got there. I did not expect the cabin to be extremely hot because they did not adjust the AC for the temperature in the cabin to be comfortable for the guests. I was very disappointed due to a long drive and arrived to our cabin to be uncomfortable. If you don’t mind the texas heat you’d probably be ok but for someone like me would be very uncomfortable. The communication with the property manager was very fast and easy. I would recommend for some upgrades for the kitchen utensils and plates because all the plates were chipped. There were old white stains on the red/ quilted pillow cases. So I am not sure how clean those pillows were. Wifi connections were great. Easy check in and out. Very clean bathroom and the jacuzzi outside was very clean so we ended up enjoying it. Despite of some hiccups, If we ever come back to Wimberly I will definitely book this cabin.

My husband and I got away for a couple of nights and really enjoyed the seclusion and peace of the grounds and cabin. The AC could not keep up with the summer heat during the day though. The cabin would not cool down until after dark. We notified the property management and they said they’d get back to us but never did before we checked out.

Cabin was beautiful. The views phenomenal. The perfect little get away to unwind and reset.

I absolutely loved everything about this cabin. The views were absolutely beautiful. I loved how secluded it was. The hot tub is the perfect addition after a long day out!

The cabin was easy to find from town. The cabin was very homey and comfortable. The cabin and property was beautiful with much time spent on the porch and hot tub making this the best place to rest and relax. We will definitely be back in the future.

We enjoyed this Luxury Cabin! It was very comfortable and perfectly located to experience beautiful views on the back porch. Only suggest that you get more comfortable seating on the back porch.

Cabin was cozy and stocked with anything we needed. Quiet and private location with amazing views of hill country. You felt “away from it all” - but still close enough to Wimberley and all it’s amenities!!

A wonderful, peaceful and secluded property with an amazing view. We enjoyed the hot tub and the grill and soaked in the silence. Bed was a bit soft for my liking, but that was minor. If you need to unwind, this is a great place to do it!

The location, view and seclusion were nice but nothing about this cabin is upscale. Everything is old and worn out. The comforter, bath towels, cushions on sofa….everything had holes in them. The bed was horrible, dipped in center so they put a foam topper in an attempt to help I guess but my husband and I had to sleep hanging on to side of bed to keep from rolling to middle and being trapped! The hot tub is old and outdated with a torn up cover you have to manually lift yourself to open. The whole place needs a facelift badly but the final straw for us was the mouse that ran out from under the sofa when we sat down!!!!

The house is beautiful and comfortable. The view was amazing and the hot tub was fantastic.

Was a beautiful view. However, mice were in cabin and after multiple texts to request traps or something be done to catch them we were told someone would come out and take care of them. After a long day in town we came back to relax. Mice were running around under our feet which was not pleasant. Contacted management again and all we heard was sorry we’ll tell someone. Husband had to go buy mouse traps and we caught two while we waited in hot tub and one more during the night. Nothing was ever offered for our troubles just words that the team would promptly take care of things. What a lie. Other than that the cabin could use a dresser or hangers or some place to put the luggage off the floor especially with mice running around. Beautiful view and hot tub was nice.

The Ruby Cabin at Stoney Ridge surpassed all of our expectations. From the rustic decor, the fully stocked kitchen and grill, the hot tub and amazing views from the porch, our stay was spectacular! We enjoyed being close to the shopping, dining, and breweries in Wimberley, too. Definitely did not want to leave and come back to reality! We will be back!

We absolutely love our stay! The Ruby Cabin is a beautiful cozy cabin on one of the tallest hills in the Wimberley area that overlooks as far as you can see and a full length porch to take it all in! Inside was beautifully detailed repurposed barn wood that takes you back into past the more that you look at it. We loved being there and look forward to our return!

We enjoyed our stay

We wanted to have a few days of down time to celebrate our 30th anniversary and this cabin fit the bill. The location is gorgeous, nestled high above the Texas Hill Country. The views are spectacular and the privacy of this spot is well appreciated. The cabin was immaculate upon arrival. We were comfortable in the space and I have to say, as someone who brings her own pillows wherever she goes, I ended up leaving them in the car this trip. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were soft and plush and the pillow situation was top notch! Each of the large floor to ceiling windows has a roll down shade installed, giving you privacy in the evenings if desired. The cabin was stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal, and clean up after. An amazing stay, which we will remember for many years to come!

Not often do we stay in a VRBO that is better than advertised but this one was. Highlights were the view, the bed, shower and attention to detail. It was very peaceful. We would like to come back.

Ww loved the cabin and the hot tub. The bed was very, very comfortable. The view was amazing! The little town was welcoming and very pleasant. Our check in and check out process was seamless. Our stay was a just what we needed for our anniversary. I would recommend this to any one wanting a peaceful romantic getaway!
