We thoroughly enjoyed an extended Thanksgiving vaca at this cabin! It was lovely and just what we needed to get off the beaten path and explore. It was cozy, beds were perfect, we slept in every morning. Loved the fireplace! Will def stay here again
The property could be beautiful if they would clean it up and take care of the place. Everything outside is overgrown you cant enjoy the whole property because theres weeds and crap everywhere. Also get ALL your check in information BEFORE you get there because theres NO WIFI service and the renting people are not even sure how to get inside the properties without guessing and i understand you have multiple BUT information needs to be together we spent an hour just trying to get the door code to get inside. AGAIN NO WIFI to call so you have to drive 30 minutes and then try and get in contact with the property manager and good luck with that. Now heres the best part, once you finally get inside they have a wifi code you can use AGAIN beware they cut all ties and wifi at freaking midnight so if you travel with your child and they get sick you are screwed with no service and yes this happened to us so we were forced to leave in the middle of the night thanks to these great renters. Dont waste your money at this place there are TONS of beautiful places that people are taking care of and making sure stays are great. Good Luck!!
Based on the pictures we viewed on-line of the area outside of the cabin, we expected a picturesque, private and tranquil place that would afford us the privacy to relax, escape, and simply enjoy nature. Instead, the place seemed like an RV campground/park complete with trash cans/bins/receptacles in plain sight and cabins/cottages built so close together that there would be little, if any, privacy. As a result of this stark contrast, we felt a bait and switch kind of vibe and decided not to stay any of the 13 nights we purchased.
We enjoyed our visit and appreciated the location and the cabin. The only thing we would like to recommend is brighter lighting in living area and bedrooms. Overall we were very pleased with our choice to stay at your place.
We really enjoyed this clean property. It was very close to Manitou Springs but far enough away to have a rustic mountainy feel. The little town was amazing to walk down to as well. We didn't go to any of the restaurants but they were busy.
Very nice property located in Green Mountain falls.
We arrived at 4pm after a 12 hour car trip to a maintenance man snaking the backed up kitchen sink drain w/ a drill until 6pm, not ideal. Not sure why this hadn’t been taken care of earlier if check out is at 11am. The street address is listed wrong. It’s not on Douglas Place, it’s actually located on Douglas Way so the listing needs to be corrected. There were no extra towels/not one wash cloth/only one trash bag/only one roll of tp in each bathroom/there’s not one full length mirror which would have been helpful. There were pills all over the floor in the extra bedroom so thank goodness we did not bring our dog w/ us or this could have been very dangerous. Overall first impressions were not very welcoming w/ the untidiness. The owner texted & left a voicemail to say she was sending a maintenance man over but only after he had already arrived. When we tried calling her or texting back she didn’t respond to talk to us so this was also not a welcoming feeling upon arrival…. The location was very good, we loved the area & proximity to all the sites. We would only return here again if more care was shown to both the property & the guests.
We stayed for a week- was great escape from TX heat. Everything was as advertised. Location is really great- walking distance to the tiny downtown, easy driveway/street, but also far enough from road that very peaceful, deer wandered onto property.
Cute cabin in a quaint area. Loved the clouds at the top of the mountain looking out the back window. Saw deer crossing the yard one morning. Our dog loved walking to the lake and seeing the geese. The cabin was great minus a couple of minor things. Could use a really good cleaning. Found myself wishing the kitchen had a mixer, a measuring cup and a cutting board. The bed was comfortable and absolutely enjoyed the electric fireplace. Made me want one at home. Houses are close together so felt a little tight at times. All in all would recommend.
Close to everything! We enjoyed the easy access to trailheads from Boulder St. Walked to the Blue Moose Tavern the first night. Friendly service at Tye Dye Java and the Pantry. Recommend the cinnamon roll French toast. Deer in the yard and goslings near the lake. Gave it a 4 for cleanliness because the garbage disposal had a strong odor, we left the drain stop in to help reduce it. Would recommend to friends.
Lovely cabin in a quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife viewing. The layout was perfect with each bedroom separated by the kitchen and living room. The unit contained more than basic necessities which was a nice surprise. This little cabin does not disappoint and is a perfect escape for some true R&R.
The cabin was in a beautiful location. Clean and had everything we needed for a weeks visit. Property manager acted promptly to our concerns. Love the immediate area. Shops, restaurants and walking trails. Definitely will be returning.
The spare room bed needs a new mattress please Furnace at times emitting a bad odor
For my friend and I to have a nice, clean, spacious place to stay while we attended a conference at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park.
To see all the deer wandering around was amazing and being tucked up in the mountains was magical. A perfect place to get away. The cabin had everything you need. Alex was wonderful!!
Good
It was a cozy cabin with a nice deck. Was a little more remote than we thought, internet was on and off. However all and all it was a good experience!
Very good.
Great location. Good place to eat nearby
Great area with the lake and creek. Beautiful drive from Colorado Springs to the cabin. The pictures are a little deceiving. The cabins are very close together. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the cabin. The windows and blinds hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and there were dust bunnies and leftover items from previous guests under the bed and in the closet.
I liked my stay very much
This property was great! The neighbors are EXTREMELY close, but we never had any issues with noise or anything, and very rarely saw them. The area is amazing, the house is very nice. We will absolutely be back!
It was a really nice property in a great location! The little town was so cute. We really enjoyed it. Would definitely come back!
