Overall, the house was exception, with everything provided for.A minor exception was the toilet in our en-suite bathroom tended to keep running due to the overlong chain wrapping around the flapper. Once I figured out what the problem was, I was able to take the tank lid off and unwrap the chain.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The home was very nice and well appointed. The view out to the lake was beautiful. It is located close to Munising. About a 15 minute drive to Pictured Rocks. We would definitely recommend this place.
The place was very comfortable, cozy and spacious. Great views of the lake. Plenty of stocked items, from games to kitchen items. I would rent again.
Loved Munising! Great people, food, and shops! Unbelievable views! The Lodge was the perfect location with its own stunning views! Especially in the morning with the lake. Will definitely come back!
Property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Very quiet & peaceful location. Would definitely stay again.
Awesome
This was an amazing vacation with beautiful scenery. The lodge was very clean and accommodating for the 6 of us plus our 2 dogs. We had a great time on the lake with the kayaks and fishing boat provided. It's close to Munising to do all the local attractions. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities. It was easy check in and check out. This lodge was everything that was described and so much more. We give this a 5 Star Rating and would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Tonya and Andy for the great accommodations. We really enjoyed our vacation and are already looking forward to coming back!!!
The place was very nice. But it was colder than normal for the time of year and we couldn’t turn the furnace on. But we had a good time.
Just AMAZING. Clean and comfortable. Great communication, especially during the snow storm, making sure we knew what to do. My entire family was able to unwind at the end of long and stressful days, and the view out the living room window became our favorite place to sit and relax.
Loved it! We visited family and went snowmobiling
Close to the trails and town. Plenty of room.
Perfect little cabin for a couples snowmobiling weekend. Plenty of space for all of us and our gear. The house was clean and well thought out. Getting to the trail was super easy but with the warmer temps the road melted off making the short trip to the connector a little sketchy. Overall we can’t complain and would definitely book again!
Nice place to stay. We came to snowmobile and had a good time. Parking can be a little tight if you have 2 trailers.
Thanks a lot for the stay !
Great place to watch fall colors in a relaxing home.
Our family loved the calm and serene setting. Kids enjoyed kayaks and canoe. A nice respite was just what we needed!
The cabin was beautiful, clean and the lake was fantastic. The neighborhood was peaceful and very relaxing
It was amazing stay with beautiful surroundings. We can’t complain of anything: location, house, lake! All we rate 5+, everything as was described in the listing is really there. Kitchen is fully equipped, bathrooms are fully stocked, easy check in and check out, very quiet area ,it was enough space for 6 of us and a dog. The only little thing is a mattress in the master bedroom was not comfortable( when my husband turned on his side I was jumping next to him:))) So, if you change the mattress to the more stable one, not movable one, it’s going to be perfect in everything! Otherwise, everything else was amazing and we didn’t want to leave this place! We will plan for next year for sure!!!! Thanks Tanya and Andy!
Tanya was so helpful . Just a call away. House & lake absolutely fantastic. Beds super comply. Kitchen amazing with tons plates & spices and pretty much any condiment you needed. They had regular coffee pot with Starbucks coffee supplied plus Kureig. Laundry was great and thdy had tons towels for bath & lake. And board games too for fun. We played French Monopoly . Fire pit was nice. Waking up & drinking coffee on deck in rocking chairs was the best way to start day . Everhthing was exceptional and definitely exceeded our expectations. My only regret was not staying longer. We split our vacation this year . I definitely recommend this place . And I. Already planning on returning .
The house was very clean and had everything you could need - towels, blankets, coffee, washer/dryer, etc. The setting on the lake was peaceful and beautiful - it was nice to sit on the deck and relax. Tanya was super nice and very responsive to any issues that arose. Overall a really nice experience for my family and I.
Clean, quiet and peaceful retreat from your regular day.
Tanya and Andy were very accommodating and attentive with us, they were gracious hosts! The lodge, view and lake were private and beautiful. My only suggestions would be to provide a basketball for the driveway hoop, more fishing poles that are Powell Lake friendly and maybe some more kleenex? Thank you for sharing your gorgeous retreat with us. ❤
