The cabin is cozy and private, and surrounded by trees. It is nice having the birds chirping in the morning. Kitchen has all you need.

Everything was perfect ! Under 15 minutes to anything ! ! ! The house was very welcoming ! Had deer walk through the front as we were bringing our luggage in. Firepit was set up when we got there. Gas fireplace in livingroom really set our evenings.

Host was amazing. This cabin was great for the price we wanted to spend. Perfect quiet area for relaxing, and a quick drive to Helen. Beds and livingroom furniture were very comfortable! Our teens had fun with the games. Kitchen was very nice! The downstairs toliet is only for little kids because of the little cubby its in(we all had a good laugh at us trying to use it). The locks were hard to open on the lock box and doors, probably just the weather. The dryer sqeaks VERY loud lol, dont use it unless you have to. It wasnt a big deal for us though. The owner even came to help us figure out the game sytem when we couldnt. Supper nice folks. We will stay in his cabins again. We packed light for our stay and honestly didn't have to go buy anything but food because the cabins was very well stocked. Great find for the price. The trees have grown up since the picture looking out the loft windowns at the mountains ... but not a big deal either. Very quiet relaxing place!

The host was welcoming. He was very polite and offered us a small refund for the hot tub not working. Which we really appreciated. However, the roof leaks and around the windows leak, which leads to black mold b which we could see. An another note, please remove the shower cushion, you don't need it with glass doors and the curtain was very gross to look at. The place was beautiful and it was really nice having a bonfire pit. For safety purposes, one of the beams under the deck by the fire pit is falling because it is missing a joist hanger. Please fix. Other than that we did have a nice stay. It made for great family time.

We loved the size and the location. It was like a 20 minute drive to everywhere we wanted to go. The only minor inconveniences were with the driveway/parking situation and cleaning. The driveway is not very wide, and if we had taken one of our sedans instead of a truck, I don’t know that we would have made it up. there is a flat spot to park so parking is fine once you get up, but only for one vehicle. The house was clean, with the exception of a few sticky spots on the table and the hot tub. We did not use the hot tub as we had planned multiple outings anyway, and the table was fine after a quick wipe down. The beds were comfortable, we had all we needed as far as dishes and such, and we enjoyed ourselves!

The reason for my title being disappointed, is because we spected so much more form the images of this place. On the other hand i have to appreciate and be grateful for the promptiness of our host once we call him to solve a cleaningness issue, he showed up within the our woth brand new linen for all the beds; Even though this issue was not supposed to happen to begin with. There where many issues with the property, mostly an extreme lack of maintenance, higene, and overall carelessness. I had to fix the BBQ in order to use it, because even though it looks very cool on the outside, the interior is rusted away. The hot tub was dirty, even after we ran it for a while and removed debris from the water. We had to use some wd40 we had on our car to lubricate the hinges on the doors, became the creaking noise would wake up anyone still sleeping. The biggest issue we had to top it all, was the fact that the last 2 we all basically bundled up in one bedroom to sleep. This was due to a disturbing amount of scorpions in the property. My kids where fricking out and they didn't want to sleep on their beds once they woke up to scopions in their beds. After i got them relax we played some video games in the gaming room upstairs, guess what another scorpion crawling from under one of the pillows in witch my son was sitting in. I used some bug spray to keep the critters away, and that gave allergies to my daughter.I'm submitting some pictures to show we are not making this up.

Loved the quiet location and beautiful home. So thankful to be able to bring our dogs with us. They enjoyed laying outside in the yard by the fire pit with us. Only recommendation would to to inform renters of driverway conditions. We were lucky to have driven our suv as the driveway was washed away in areas due to heavy rain.

We had a great stay at this cabin in Clarksville, outside of Helen. The owners were quick to reply and fix the hot tub when it wasn’t warming. The house met our needs for a family gathering in the woods with beautiful views of the stars at night.

If you or anyone in your party are of a larger stature, this home will not be comfortable for you. The downstairs bathroom potty could only be used by my grandchildren. So you will have to “handle business” in the loft bathroom but shower in the downstairs bathroom. All 3 mattresses were not very thick and on plywood so it was not a very restful sleep. Jets only worked on one side of the hot tub but was a great feature to help relax. And the grill!! The grill was freaking awesome!! It looked like a Chevy small block!!Overall, The home was super cute and clean. I was hoping it would be decorated for Christmas but it wasn’t, but that’s ok.

It was a very charming cabin. Pretty and clean, standard mountain cabin home. Convenient to town with a dollar general nearby. Host was responsive. Quaint but small. Porches do not connect. Most will have a hard time using downstairs toilet, if you need to spread your knees, forget it. The space is just wide enough for the toilet. Walls on both sides. If you are not accustomed to Old School TV surround sound video setup then the media in the living room could be challenging. The thermostat needs reprogramming or constantly monitored, otherwise you'll wake up overly hot and nauseous to the cabin being 93 degrees which was not pleasant at all and if you have sensitivity to allergies, this may not be your first choice because I did have some itchy eyes and other irritation to the cabin that immediately went away once I went outside. Note that there are neighbors to the right and what appeared to be another rental property within 75 feet of the cabin. With that being said for the price for the location for the view for the privacy and for the purpose of simply getting away from it all to have some time to spend with your special person, that's in a secluded area, the cabin served it's purpose for my husband and I during the week that we stayed there.

Place is as described. The hot tub had a funky smell, like old water with no chemicals for cleaning :( the place was decent pretty run down for price . Futon wouldn’t stay flat made for uncomfortable sleeping arrangement for my son. Dryer was too squeaky to use sounded as if the thing was gonna fly away . Instructions were easy . Very beautiful wooded surroundings. I would have loved a tv in the bedroom for evening times .

I’m from Georgia and went home for a weekend and it was perfect! They provide a fully stocked cabin, comfy beds, enough room for the entire family or a large group of friends, private yet close to everything! The only thing I would suggest is getting there, the address doesn’t show up for the cabin on GPS, but there is a gravel company at the bottom of the hill on the main road that if you gos that, no issues every time getting there. Would stay again and again!

This was a good vacation spot to stay in. It was quiet and peaceful. My wife and I hope to rent again. 9 miles from beautiful Helen, GA, and 2 miles from Clarksville proper. The house is a little buried in the woods at the end of a loose gravel road, so be a little careful because you will be going uphill a little bit. Convenient gas station advertised the main road, a long with a delicious Sautee Trail Cafe near by which has many options. Neighbors didn't seem to bother our stay. Our host was super responsive to questions and inquires about the property, and on the first day of our stay the host let us randomly pay for an additional day extension. The lodging was comfortable and friendly on the inside, and very woodsy and free on the outside. Being surrounded by nature has a price, so don't be surprised by animal sounds in the dark. My wife and i used their hot tub, which was nice, and used their custom propane grill which was unique. 3 sides of house had spot lights for the night time with a fourth that needed repaired or replacement bulbs. Didn't use the fire pit at all but looked like a good spot for people to hang around, but do keep down a lot of noise because the neighbors are about a fifty yards away. When walking in the dark, be aware of a few spider webs... not a big deal if you are a boy scout.or camper, but don't be surprised and complain because that's nature. I will definitely recommend this place, and plan to stay again.

Dog friendly which was fantastic! Two very close restaurants that were good and also dog friendly! The firepit was fantastic! The only issue I had was how uncomfortable the beds were. I ended up sleeping in the recliner every night. If they replaced those mattresses this place would be 5 star!
