Maggie Valley, North Carolina
Sit back on the patio chairs and feel the mountain breeze, admire the mountain views and enjoy the games at the cabin. Come stay at our cozy cabin in the Ski-town Maggie Valley in the Great Smokies.
The cabin is located in a very secure pocket among the mountains. Very well connected, just 10 mins away from the Maggie Valley town. Experience solace and at the same time not totally secluded. Maggie Valley is a ski town just at the start of the Smoky Mountains on the North Carolina border. Just 40 Mins to Asheville Downtown. A short drive to Waynesville, Cherokee, Soco falls, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Cataloochee Ranch and Ski Resort.
The view from the balcony is the exact view from the cabin's patio (checkout the 'View from Patio' in images). The booking is for the whole cabin which sleeps 6 with two king beds and one queen bed. All linens provided and two cars parking space included. WiFi to keep you connected to the outside world. Take in the beautiful views, enjoy the indoor games, electric fireplace and the mountains.
We really enjoyed this cabin. Very clean, beautiful property. Great communication from host, wonderful amenities. Would definitely stay here again!
Clean and comfortable property. Beds were comfy. Hosts were very courteous and helpful.
The cabin is located in a woodsy quiet & peaceful setting—-close to amenities. It was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Overall good experience!
The house is great! No complaints at all about that. Everyone was happy and comfortable, plenty of room to spread out, cozy living area to hang out in, very quiet. I will echo the comments of others that the drive up is not for everyone. We had no problems, but some might. This is not out in the middle of nowhere, it's literally right behind a very well-kept country club, and the road is nice asphalt the whole way up, but it is steep and curvy no matter which way you go. (go left along the golf course to avoid all the speed bumps)
The house was very nice, clean and conveniently located. Communication with host was quick and helpful. As other reviews stated, very steep driveway. Two issues to note for us were there were no screens on front door or patio doors to allow for fresh air, and there isn’t a mountain view from patio areas due to trees being full (summer, July stay).
Exactly what we needed. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Quiet, clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay again.
Overall the cabin was nice, property manager responses were quick. Cabin had everything needed in a kitchen; games were provided as well. Beds were comfortable, decor great and cozy
Cozy, quiet house in the woods.
The cabin was very clean and had lots of room. We really enjoyed our stay!
The cabin was great. It was very cozy and a great place to get away and relax!
This cabin is very clean and comfortable. Enough seating for 4 adults and comfortable beds. The driveway is very steep, that was our only concern. The owners were very nice and communicated quickly.
This cabin is located in a private neighborhood on a steep hillside and while it is just minutes to restaurants and grocery stores, it has a secluded feel to it. Views of the mountains from the open main living area. Very good appliances, comfortable beds, and good overall amenities. Driveway is steep, but manageable in good weather. If wet or icy conditions probably need all wheel drive. Location is near National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and easy drive to Asheville. Loved staying here and would recommend it.
The house is in the perfect location to drive to the National Park or into downtown Asheville. Grocery shopping is just minutes away in the next town of Waynesville.. The house is a little older than pictured but it still very cozy, clean and comfortable. The living area is smaller than pictured and could get crowded if your party has more than four people. The baseboard heaters worked very well during the cold snap. I wish the fireplace was at least a gas burning one to add to the ambiance. Also be warned that the driveway is very steep and you would benefit having a four wheel drive or AWL drive vehicle for easier access. Maggie Valley is a beautiful little town and this is a centrally located and comfy, cozy place to stay.
Simply perfect! From the online booking, to the check in process & leaving- great interaction with host. A good thing to note- if you’re staying for an extended period of time there is no trash service so you’ll have to take excess to the local dump (its not far in town). The home has a lot of amenities & something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here.
The home is very nice, quiet get away accessibility is good if you have all wheel or 4-wheel drive I am disappointed that when I specifically ask if motorcycles were acceptable, I was not informed that truck with trailer access was not accessible. I was not even made aware that at least all-wheel drive was recommended until the day of check in when I was given the access code, so it was too late to cancel or make other arrangements to keep my truck and trailer elsewhere and just ride motorcycles into unit. I sent an email with my concerns but never received a response. This would be a very nice place to stay with small vehicle access.
Property was very well kept and clean. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others no issues to mention for our family.
