Stayed Dec 31, 2024We had a fantastic New Years Eve at the Cedars Ranch in our XL Geodome. It was super peaceful and relaxing. They really thought of everything! The pool was heated (I wish they stated that on the listing so we could bring bathing suits with us to enjoy this amenity). The fire pit had plenty of wood, fire starters, and lighters to last the whole weekend. The game room was clean and fun with a pool table, kitchen, couches, TV, and bathroom. Our room was absolutely perfect, with a small kitchen, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed, sitting area, dining area, and storage/closet area. While I thought the pet fee of 100 and the late checkout fee of 75 were a bit excessive, they were totally worth it. There was a beautiful garden area where we could close the gate and basically use it as a dog park and let our girl run around off leash. She loved it! There's miles of walking trails, if you're interesting in walking your animals or getting exercise. The stars we're unbelievable with the lack of light pollution. I highly recommend this resort if you're in the Wimberely area. Its very close to many breweries, wineries, distilleries, and restaurants.

Stayed May 11, 2024We made last minute plans to go to Wimberley and found the Geodome at The Cedars. The geodome was very cozy and spacious. Momma and our boys loved spending the night in the “igloo”.
