Long story short this a nice room in the woods that feels nearly like a home living room.Heat, hard wood floors, windows and a bed with plenty of space for your stuff and othersAmazing views and trails on property.Host Justin is nearly always available and by the barn Pack what you need and be prepared if you want to feel more comfortable Location is kind of perfect for me. Far enough away from everything you feel disconnected from everything But close enough to the white mountains and Maine as wellBiggest negative is field mice, if you are clean you won’t have a problem with them.Wash dishes after eating and bin all food as well as burn any scraps and you likely won’t even see a singly mouse for daysBut if you leave food out in any manner expect to be sniffed out and they can get anywhere they want. Your experience with them is based on how clean you are. There is also a lovely water fall sound in the yurt due to streams, as long as there isn’t a drought you can hear it all day

Me and a group of friends rented this Yurt for a little hiking weekend trip! The yurt was really nice and the property was beautiful. Justin provided a sled to us to help trek our stuff up and it was really helpful! The only issue we had during the trip was with parking. We parked about 100ft from the no parking sign but then received a text when we got back down in the morning that parking authorities didn’t like us parking there. Justin handled the situation great! The wood stove was super nice (a bit hard to get going in the cold temps) but nice and warm after!

My first yurt ever and it was AWESOME. what a unique little place. getting there after dark is definitely a little confusing but no problems. that thing stays almost too warm once you get the fire going!

It was lovely to see so many stars and listen to the stream. We also enjoyed the fire in the wood stove (although we had to stoke it every couple hours). The bed was very comfortable. The walk up in the snow was more strenuous than we expected. Next time we'll pack as if for a hiking trip. We'll also stay for more than one night so we can explore the hiking trails.

We were so excited to stay in the wilderness and venture to the watering holes specified for this listing. We were utterly dissapointed when we arrived and could not find any water. We walked miles endlessly looking for signs and found none. Insteady of enjoying the property that we paid for we drove 1-1/2 hour away to find some watering holes along the river in Gorahm. Will not ever stay here again and would not recommend. :(
