The actual cabin was very nice. The property was awesome and I loved not having WiFi personally. The two negatives were the water smelled like rotten eggs. We couldn’t even use the faucets for coffee or brushing our teeth. It was very unpleasant. The other negative was the uphill climb to the cabin. I don’t remember seeing anything about it so maybe I missed it but in order to get from the parking lot to your cabin, you need to go up a steep hill about 75 yards until you reach you cabin. They offer wagons but if you have any difficulty walking, I would not recommend.

The cabin was fine, however, prior to check in you are sent an email saying the hot tub was sanitized and cleaned thoroughly. We booked this for the hot tub and to be able to bring our dog along. The hot tub was far from sanitized, couldn’t see the bottom! I contacted management regarding this, and let them know we were leaving early since this was what we wanted to enjoy in the evenings. They felt it only necessary to refund my pet fee for the inconvenience of booking and not being able to use.

Booked for the hot tub and the fact that it was pet friendly. When the hot tub was brown and we were unable to enjoy this in the evenings, they gave us our additional pet fee back. Despite us letting them know we had actually checked out early. We had hoped that management could do better than this in making the situation right. The email you receive right before checking in guarantees a sanitized and clean hot tub as well.

Well, the cottage is cute. But unfortunately, the cuteness wore off rather quickly. The biggest issue is the no parking at the cabin. And actually expecting your guests to walk up these lengthy driveways with all of their luggage is absurd. The little wagons that are provided are silly. They are all dirty and wet from being left out in the rain.. we had like 4 towels for two adults for 3 nights. No black towels or towels for the hot tub. No bath rugs or a rug in front of the front door. So the floors were constantly wet. We were provided one thin dish towel and no dish rag to clean our dishes. There is no WiFi or tv at all. So? Forget about trying to use your phone for directions. The whole no parking at the cabin did it for us. We will not return to this cabin or recommend it.

We’ve stayed at these cabins for 2 years now and it’s overall a great spot. Love the full kitchen, the vibe is so cute and modern and the king bed is a huge plus. We had issues this time with the hot tub not working, cleanliness of beds and not receiving our check in email even within a few hours of our reservation. We called the number and person was insanely rude and unhelpful. We searched our inbox and know how to find things in the spam folder, and yet we were accused of not looking hard enough or in the right place, which I get it, technology is not everyone’s forte, but it is for us. When I asked to just send it again, it apparently was a huge inconvenience and problem. Sounds minimal, but I was taken back by how combative the individual was on the phone. We like that it’s dog friendly, but possibly looking elsewhere next time we stay in Hocking Hills.

We decided to get out of the city for our first anniversary and wanted to take our dogs with us. Twilight Point was perfect! As another review mentioned, the cabins are closer together than I expected but we never heard any other guests unless we were walking by. I do think this cabin was the most secluded and private. We really appreciated the stocked kitchen as we aren't from OH and didn't realize there was a burn ban until the morning of check-in so we were able to make a grocery run on the way up. The hot water was great, bed was super comfy, and everything was very clean. The giant windows in every room really made our stay and we loved soaking in the hot tub, watching the sunset through the trees. The wagons were a big help in getting our stuff to the cabin. The only thing that I wish we had known at booking was that the walk from the parking lot to our cabin has a short but kind of steep incline. We didn't really come to hike as one of our dogs is elderly and has trouble getting around. After 2 trips up the hill to unload our stuff, she was spent. It's not a walk that my parents could have done. All in all, a beautiful spot and we'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Twilight Point. This cabin was exactly as described and shown in pictures. We loved the decor, secluded setting. It was located close to all of the Hocking Hills attractions we wanted to see. The hot tub was in pristine condition and wonderful to soak in after our hiking adventures. We loved sitting on our porch and being disconnected from our phones. You should know that there is a rugged stone driveway to enter Wilder and it is a bit of a challenge to navigate in a car. Take it slow. We arrived after dark and our maps had a hard time directing us directly to Wilder and we had to drive around for a little bit without a connection to Internet. There is a fairly steep stone pathway to walk up to the units that was not well lit for the night. So, we would recommend arriving during the daylight hours. We highly recommend staying at Twilight Point at Wilder and think it would be beautiful for all seasons.
