Cabin was so peaceful and calming. Had deer in the yard in the mornings.

Nice spacious property for our group.

I enjoyed staying at this quaint cabin. There was plenty of room for our group. The bottle of wine and chocolate were a nice touch. We had to make our own beds and one of the double beds had a twin fitted sheet instead of a full.

One of the Rest room was in downstairs which was very inconvenient

If you just need a quick get a way I recommend this spot!

This was a very comfortable, very welcoming place to stay. I originally booked it because it was just a bit more expensive than a hotel, and obviously much nicer. Since we had so much space, I invited a few friends to go with us and there was room for everyone. It was truly a great place to stay. I liked the way the cabin was set up, and my kids got a big kick out of the loft. I worried a bit about my 5 year old going up and down the ladder, but she did fine. My favorite things about the cabin was the amazing deck, from which we watched squirrels play on the hill, and the homey atmosphere. I highly recommend this great rental!

Before getting this place someone should put a disclaimer that the owner of the property wants you to clean his place so you are paying to sleep and clean his place his expectations are just insane.

Our stay was nice. We had great weather so we were not able to take advantage of the beautiful fireplace they offer. The weather allowed us to sit outside and enjoy their nice large deck. Close to town great places to eat and shop. I would return.

Loved the cabin and Craig was easy to communicate with. Definitely want to come back this summer.

It had everything we needed and would go back

Staying here made for an easy trip with our family, including a 2 year old and 8 year old. Three bedrooms are on roughly the same level as the entrance, which made it easier for my mom to get around. Everything was comfortable. The front room has great sofas for lounging and is more spacious than photos show. Highly recommend!

Cozy cabin. Quiet.

I have always wanted to stay at this cabin. It's huge and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Its super quiet and the walk to town was beautiful and close.The host was great and got back to me quickly.

Very comfortable, I wish it was colder to use the fireplace. Lots of space, big comfy sofas. We saw deers both nights the controls for the lights and fans was a mystery. The light by the computer came on and off- maybe electrical. I did have a bit of confusion figuring out if it was the road and it was a driveway overall enjoyable time!!!

What a beautiful property. Everything was excellent. The deer welcomed us at the patio. Nice sized dining table, 3 sofa’s so plenty of room!

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was a lovely neighborhood. With a nice big deck in the backyard I would recommend it for families or anyone that likes to go up to Twain Harte.

I cannot say enough about this cabin. The location is great, nice walk to the lake. The books!!! If you are a book lover, this cabin is a must! I could have spent an entire month in hiding there just to read the books! The owner is fantastic and accommodating. Wonderful stay!

This property was perfect for me and all my family to stay in for my son’s wedding. Great location, clean cabin, plenty of amenities, plenty of lounge area so we could all sit and catch up with one another.

It was clean and quiet just what our family needed.

We came to the cabin to celebrate my adult son's birthday and it was a great experience. The host was very communicative and accommodating. This is the second time we have stayed at the cabin. It is a nice home in a quiet neighborhood, and one of our favorite features is the deck. We saw deer up close and enjoyed the views. Communication with the host was great as well. He had some questions based on things the neighbors reported, but we texted back and forth and the host was very polite and respectful. It is important to note that the neighbors do seem to be a bit on the nosy side. No issues at all with the cabin. There is plenty of room to hang out and sleep, a nice kitchen to cook in, and just a great atmosphere overall. I recommend this for families and groups of friends to enjoy mountain ambiance and relaxation.

If you are looking for a beautiful cozy cabin, I would highly recommend staying at Funcabin Rental. It is a spacious cozy and welcoming cabin, with lots of parking space. Host was amazing, responds promplty to all messages. Check in was quick and easy. Cabin was clean and well maintained. We were lucky to see deer roaming in the front and back of the cabin. You will have no regrets renting this cabin. We cant wait to book again.

Our first time booking a cabin, it was perfect for our large family. Beautiful layout and wrap around deck. We were able to barbecue and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. 10/10 recommend, thank you for your hospitality!

Upon entry we were impressed with how clean the cabin was. The carpets, floors etc were very taken care of, no ick factor that typically comes with a vacation place. Plenty of space and beds to accommodate a larger group. Only one indoor bathroom unfortunately but in the summer months the basement/outdoor bathroom would be fine. We would certainly stay again.

We have been coming to Twain Harte for 40 yrs. It started with myself, 2 children & my mother. My mother came until she turned 90. She lived to be 99 passing away in 2022. It’s now myself, husband, adult children and grandchildren who come to Twain Harte. We really enjoyed this years cabin. My sister even joined us for her first time ever in Twain Harte. We will be back in 2025. Thank you

The cabin was a little smaller than we would have preferred, that was understandable, considering the age of the property It was very hot in Twain Harte as advertised the property did not have AC but several fans to move around the air. But that did not work very well since it did not cool down at night. The location was great and as advertised
