Stayed Jul 26, 2025We had a great 5 nights on the lake at this darling cabin. The kitchen has everything you could ever need. The house was very clean and the air conditioning was a nice feature because it was very hot the week we stayed. The beach is very nice but very rocky. You definitely need some sort of water shoe/sandal that can handle sharp and slippery rocks. There is a small table and umbrella down at the beach but that is going to be it for shade. The water was perfect and very clear, perfect for swimming. There are 65 stairs you need to climb when you head back to the cabin. It is manageable but NOT for anyone with knee problems or the elderly as they are fairly steep. We were able to bring our dog and she had a great time. Note to those of you bringing dogs....beach is very rocky and no shade for pets. It was in the 90's every day. Thank you again for a nice stay.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025We had a blissful vacation at this beautiful, quiet, and clean property. The access to the beach and private dock made it perfect for playing, resting, fishing, and making amazing memories with our four young kids. The hosts were wonderful—responsive and helpful throughout our stay. A couple tips: bring crocs or water shoes for the shoreline, and note that the path to the beach includes stairs. Overall, a fantastic stay—we’d definitely come back!

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Staying at this cabin was such a joy for me and my family. It was so quiet and private, the sleeping arrangements were more than enough for my family of four adults, there was good cell reception (if you've been to CDA, you know this is not a given), Ava was so helpful with any questions we had, and the dock and beach for our boat was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025We were there for just 2 days and wish it could have been longer. We only used the upstairs, a small, rustic, but efficient space with a great deck(s), barbecue and table. It was great for our 2 dogs who also loved the water. For those in decent shape, the stairs are noticeable but not a detriment to enjoying the lake. The nearby town of Harrison is fun. Note that it's a slow, windy, but beautiful 10 mile trip to get to the place. There doesn't seem to be an abundance of hiking trails nearby, but more likely we just couldn't find them. There are nearby places to launch kayaks, paddleboards, etc.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024The Lake Coeur d'Alene Cabin is the perfect getaway location. Easy to find, great views, and close to the water. The host is very sweet and responsive. The location is about 30 minutes to each Coeur d'Alene and Harrison. Carlin Bay Marina is about 5 minutes away. Located there are Harrison Boat Rentals (jet skiis too) and Latitudes Gourmet Food Truck, which has a wonderful menu if you don't feel like cooking! National Forest is all around, with plenty of trails for hiking and biking. I highly recommend this stay if you want to enjoy Lake Coeur d'Alene and the surrounding natural areas.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024Our family had the best stay- we loved the open access to the dock. Cabin was absolutely spotless when we arrived. Even though the owners live about 20 feet away, they were incredibly respectful and we felt we had a great deal of privacy. Our teen boys loved the bunk room - we all would love to go back and stay again. So many wonderful memories made- thank you hosts!!

Stayed Jun 30, 2024We loved this little place. Reasonably priced. It sleeps 6-7 comfortably and is two levels. It was only two of us and our small dog so we only used the top floor that functions like a studio apt. We brought our boat so having our own dock was awesome. We had some friends dock there too with us one night, since we had been drinking by the fire pit. They had a large 35-foot cruiser and were able to dock on the other side of our dock and sleep on their own boat. Two places to have outdoor fires and having beach access was nice. 76 steps to and from boat dock; was a bit of a work out. Worked fine for us but would not for those with physical disabilities. The hosts were always available and kind. They gave us privacy and ended up helping us twice during a stay. Having public launch point two miles away was very convenient. Only a few constructive comments; not anything that would keep us from coming back. We were there during hottest time of year. No AC so very hot from 2-8p each day. So if not on the lake or elsewhere, it is quite warm. And, if you want access to downtown often, it is about a 30-minute drive on a two-lane very curvy road. Basically you are located near the middle of the lake between Coeur d’Alene and Harrison. No dishwasher so you need to wash your own dishes, which we didn’t mind. We will be back in two years and will definitely consider staying here again. Thank you Ava and Kevin for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property.
