Description

★ A romantic yurt built for two, elevated in the trees.

Tumbling Brook is a sage-green hard-wall yurt at Elk Hollow, tucked into a wooded glen with the deck raised up among the trees. It's cozy, quiet, and private, the loudest things birdsong and the wind, with deer and wild turkey passing through.

This is glamping, not camping. The walls are insulated, the comforts are real: a full kitchen, a spa-style bath, heat and AC, WiFi, and keyless entry. You'll fall asleep to thewoods, which is the point.

🛋️ INSIDE
➝ Open, round yurt layout with warm, rustic touches and hand-crafted wood furniture
➝ Sitting area and a Smart TV for a quiet night in
➝ Full kitchen, stocked for cooking in or keeping the coffee close
➝ WiFi, heat + AC year-round, in-unit washer + dryer

🛏️ WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP
➝ King bed dressed in soft linens
➝ Freestanding soaking tub
➝ Walk-in rainfall shower
★ Guests call it cozy, romantic, and spotless

🌲 OUTSIDE
➝ Elevated wraparound deck in the trees
➝ Private hot tub, open year-round
➝ Gas grill and outdoor seating
➝ Fire pit down below for s'mores under the stars
➝ String lights overhead after dark

♥ WHO IT'S FOR
Couples. Anniversaries, honeymoons, or a quiet reset for two. Quiet by design, so it's a getaway, not a party house.

🚗 GETTING HERE
The drive in is easy, no 4WD needed, but the yurt itself sits up in an elevated, wooded setting reached by about 20 steps, with another set down to the fire pit. It's not step-free, so pack light and skip this one if stairs are hard for you. Five minutes from downtown Bryson City, right by the Deep Creek entrance to the Smokies.

➳ GOOD TO KNOW
It's a wooded, elevated yurt, so you'll hear the birds and the wind and see more of the outdoors than you would in a cabin. It's glamping with a full kitchen, spa bath, and heat and AC, not roughing it, but the steps up are real and worth picturing before you book.
