True Log Cabin 3/2 Fiber OPTICS, Trout-Stocked Creek, Hot Tub !

House is in a secluded and quiet neighborhood. Boone and blowing rock aren’t far away. Creek is wonderful and flowing in the yard just beyond the fire pit. House is accurately represented and clean. Internet was great since cell service is not available.We used the house as a base camp to visit places like Grayson’s Highlands / West Jefferson, and waterfalls throughout Valle Crucis, Banner Elk and beyond.

We had a great time at your cabin, most of our time was spent walking up and down the river! The boys caught some huge carp.. that was a surprise, we weren’t expecting to see carp in the river! Apparently it’s spawning season and there were huge groups of them. Everything was wonderful, thank you!

Nice clean property

Nice little weekend getaway! The cabin was perfect for our little family. It was clean and communication was great from property owner. We also enjoyed the creek right behind the cabin.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin is beautiful and located in such a nice, quiet area. Relaxing in the hot tub while listening to the stream was definitely a highlight for us. The check in and out process was very easy, and Jackie was there to answer all questions. Highly recommend this place for anyone who needs a peaceful getaway!

Our second time staying here. The host is always pleasure and responds right away to messages. This cabin is perfect for us. Beds are very comfortable and it has everything we need to enjoy a long weekend getaway with our family.

This property was beautiful and the house was just the right size for our family! Loved the location and the seclusion. We even got a little snow on Saturday morning!

Our family enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin. The main reason we got the cabin is because of its location on the stream, where my husband could fish. Unfortunately he couldn’t come, but the kids still had lots of fun just running to the stream and walking on rocks. It was taking us longer than 20 minutes to get to Boone, and it took us about 40 minutes to get to the closest ski resort ( possibly because I do not drive well in mountains). We enjoyed the rustic furniture, warm fireplace, comfortable beds, and Christmas decorations. The bathrooms are small, so hot the tub tub is a huge plus. Firewood was not available, so I grabbed some from Walmart when we were out. Also, there is a charge if you leave any trash bags. Another recommendation would be to have extra toilet paper if a family stays for a few days. Overall, the place is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. Thank you so much for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay with our family. The home was fully stocked with plenty of towels, kitchen utensils and everything needed. The hot tub was great after a long drive in. We liked that even though we were in the country that the water pressure was great and the water got really hot for showers especially considering we had 4 adults and a child. The host was quick to respond with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend.

This location is perfect for an angler. I fished in many locations up and down Elk Creek all within 10 minutes of the cabin. Caught fish every day. The house is comfortable and has high speed internet as advertised. We were able to enable wifi calling on our cell phones, so had phone service as well. Highly recommend the cabin and the service.

Loved the cabin especially the kitchen/great room with gas fireplace. The outside of cabin was good, we needed the flat land because of two elderly people with us. We were looking for an easily accessible creek for the elderly grandfather to fish. We were disappointed in the area to get down to creek. Would have been the perfect place if the access was cleaned and leveled.

The cabin is lovely- very comfortable bed and nice soft sheets and towels. We had everything we needed. Hot tub was relaxing and well- kept. My husband was disappointed- no fish, but otherwise it was very nice.

Phenomenal stay at Anglers Retreat. The property is tucked away at the perfect distance from Boone yet rural. The Creek was incredible and all the additional amenities were on point.

Everything was perfect. Cant wait to stay again.

Great place to stay. Place was clean. Definitely off the beaten path but well worth it if you are wanting to get away. Loved being on the creek and having a fire in the pit outside every night. Hot Tub was nice to get in after hiking all day. If i had to critique one thing. I would say to update your information on dog fee, and trash. We were a little confused about what we read online vs what was at the cabin. Great time. Will return next year.

I took my 2 boys for a long weekend and loved it. Im not sure which way the 10 acres align as you do have neighbors on one side. Gorgeous water and absolutely relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

Just what we were looking for! A few suggestions:1. We knew we were off the grid, but didn't realize there would be gravel roads. Prepare your guests for this.2. Add 5/night and stock extra paper products3. Add another 5/night and eliminate please take your trash with you. Pay the housekeepers to dispose of it.4. Change check out time to 11:00 AM.5. Replace frying pans.Repeating......we loved your property and will be back after the fish stocking hatcheries are back in business!

Stayed for a birthday/father's day. It was relaxing and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware which made it easy to cook at the cabin. The river in the back was very peaceful with plenty of fish in it. The host was very fast as responding to anything as well.

Lovely location. Beautifully maintained, modern cabin with full kitchen, TV, plenty of hot water, and superb internet. Nice little trout stream (Elk Creek) right on the property.

Wonderful cabin. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The creek was lovely for fishing. We plan on going back when we can.

The cabin and surrounding area were beautiful! We loved being able to hear the stream/river. The hot tub was great after spending a day up on Appalachian Mountain.

Wife and I plus our 2 golden retrievers enjoyed our stay. We went into town “Boone” which is about a 35 minute drive. The cabin was great! The river behind the property has some deep spots where the pups loved to jump into. No cell service but the wifi was great and the house has a phone. It was a nice getaway.
