NO MORE THAN 12 PEOPLE SPENDING THE NIGHT!!! STRICTLY ENFORCED
I booked this for my family, and 2 other small families with young children, so we had 11 total. Kids ages 5 to 7. This house was exactly what we needed! We came in on a Thursday to relax and unwind with friends and kids. Kitchen and grill were nice and kitchen had everything we needed. Built a fire outside, and let the kids play in the downstairs game room. Outside area is great for kids during the day, but not at night. I recommend getting there during the day, because night travel around this area is dark and streets not well lit. We drove to the UGA game Saturday, about a 25 minute drive. Beautiful drive, seemed very quick. Would stay here again!! Loved it. The game room had a lot of spiders and spider webs, does need to be cleaned. Grocery store isn’t very close to house. But we were prepared for that. Beautiful property! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We used the home for extended family to stay in for my son's wedding in Monroe. It was the perfect location for family to be together. We loved the seclusion for privacy. I would definitely recommend this home. It had everything you'd need.
This is the most beautiful property. It was so clean and well stocked with all our weekend needs. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was so nice. I wish it wasn’t so hot so we could enjoy the beautiful porch. With that being said the AC kept the house cool with no issues. Our young children enjoyed the game room. Over all this house is perfect for a large family.
6 night visit for a wedding. Due to wed prep the house was only used to shower/sleep for the 1st 3 days. After that we enjoyed every minute spent at the house with lots including viewing hummingbirds, owls & fawn on the grounds Pros: Private. Comfy beds/pillows. Nice farm décor. Small touches(blankets on the porch, firewood, spices, dishwasher soap, trash bags) were available-not sure if these are guaranteed as some may be from previous guests. Spacious w/separate sleeping & living wings controlled by separate thermostats Mostly minor cons: The biggest is huge Bugs! Beetles moths ants, you name it. The external doors need door sweeps. We saw multiple bugs walk freely through the gap between the door & the floor. We took care not to leave doors open. The shared stone/dirt road connecting to the house is a long & may be difficult for smaller/lower cars esp during heavy rain. The dirt settles on the car exterior which may be a problem for car fanatics. 1 BR had a leaky shower head. 1 bedroom door doesn’t lock. Coffee mugs are on the small side. Fine for my 4 adults but another bath is ideal for big groups Notes: signed risk wavier is needed before check in. Not a big deal but is an extra step to look for. If bugs or taxidermy creep you out, don’t stay here. The light in the laundry room wasn’t working Overall this was a great stay and I look forward to staying again. Other wedding guests were also impressed and decided to book this house for their next Monroe visit
House was beautiful everything was clean when we arrived. Location was great the only negative that I found was the downstairs had an abundance of huge spiders and teeny tiny bugs but it is in the middle of the woods so to be expected but maybe spraying a barrier would help. Thanks Jordan for accomadating my family and hope to be staying with your property again soon!
