Trails End Cabin, Pet Friendly, Lake James Oasis

The cabin was absolutely adorable. Stocked with all the necessary supplies, great fire pit area, trails right behind the house, comfortable lounge area and bedrooms, clean bathrooms, I loved it all.

We had a wonderful stay at Trails End Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we appreciate that we could bring our pup along. He had a great time sniffing all around the property! It was very peaceful and we enjoyed the “sound” of complete silence at night! I highly recommend this host and property! We felt very welcomed and there were plenty of towels, blankets and toiletries for use. I can’t wait to visit again!

Second time staying in this cute little home away from home. It was just as wonderfully relaxing as the last time.

This is the perfect little mountain cottage. Very welcoming and pet friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property and trails. The fire pit is wonderful at night. The kids loved cutting open the persimmon seed we found in the yard to see what kind of winter it predicted!

We had a wonderful stay and look forward to going back!

Great place if you want to get away from it all, peace and quiet. We enjoyed hiking on the trails that can be joined right from the property. In the mornings we saw deer passing through, just behind the tree line. The place is clean, and the hosts clearly care about making your stay pleasant, with lots of nice little touches for you to discover.

It was a great cabin, tucked away and love the water trickling outside!!! It was clean and comfortable and cozy! Definitely would come back next time in the mountains!!!

We absolutely loved this quaint little cottage. It is tucked away providing the quiet and peaceful stay that allows you to reset. The proximity to the Fonta Flora brewery and Lake James was the best! Bonus- you can bring your pup which most places won’t allow.

Great place to stay! It is very clean and has everything that one would need: strong wifi (great for streaming TV}, comfortable beds, very quiet and close to fun activites! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay.

Peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy with family or friends. If you travel with your dog this is a great place for a canine companion. It is convenient to Lake James and great options for hiking.

What a perfect getaway!! The cabin is secluded which we loved, the yard was beautiful and spacious. So many hiking options in the area and we hiked to the brewery which was great for drinks and dinner. The cabin was clean and welcoming, we really had a great time. Our two dogs came with us and they loved it as much as my husband and myself.

Arriving at Trail’s End is such a treat. The little cottage is nestled in at the end of the drive with beautiful rhododendron and rocks and a little creek on site. The back bedroom is a cozy cabin-like room with a very comfortable bed. The trails were fun to explore. Also really enjoyed the Paddy’s Creek trail in Lake James State Park and Fonta Flora brewing (whipporwil farm location) was fantastic. This is a really lovely place. The hosts are so thoughtful and responsive. The place is private and certainly feels safe for solo travelers. Also nice to find a place that welcomes dogs so graciously while still being really clean. Would definitely recommend to others.

This place is amazing. Located right on a trail system, it allows me to get some running in after work.

The cabin in Nebo was great for my short getaway. We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard, taking morning hikes and paddle boarding at Lake James. Great stay!

Walked over to Fonta Flora brewery and the State Park on the trail on both nights. Great location

Peaceful property located near Lake James and the many hiking trails of Linville Gorge.

The cabin and gorgeous property around it served as a perfect base camp as we spent a long weekend exploring the Linville Gorge Wilderness, Grandfather Mountain, and Asheville - highly recommended!!
