Secluded mountain cabin, nestled in on 10 acres at an elevation of 4000 feet. Let the nearby creek put you to sleep every night . Gas fireplace to keep you cozy on those chilly nights . Great sized screened in porch with table and chairs. One bedroom ,one bathroom and loft. The loft is not a stand up loft. Star gazing at its best. Relaxing far away from the crowds . Night life is around the fire ring telling stories and making smores. Beautiful mountain views on the property and wild life abounds. Only one mile from the beginning of The Virginia Creeper Trail. Close to A.T. trail and Grayson Highlands State Park. Close to cafe and convenient and gas.
Beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Secluded mountain getaway. Off the beaten path. It gave us a chance to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful nature.
Enjoyed a pleasant sister bonding getaway. Secluded cabin close to nature and close to great hikes. Wifi at the cabin is great and the screened in porch got a lot of use. Heard wolves howl at the full moon as well!
Perfect weekend getaway. Loved the peace. Clean and everything we needed.
We loved our stay at this adorable cabin while visiting Grayson Highlands State Park. It was clean and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the little loft area! We hope to return and spend more time at this cozy hideaway!
Very nice place to stay, the sign out front that says 'Cozy Hideaway' is an understatement. Who needs a 400$ a night hotel room when places like this are available? The relaxed atmosphere of the place plus the beautiful views of the mountains made for a perfect couple days stay. Will definitely come back again.
My husband and I finished off our honeymoon here and it was the perfect way to relax before heading home! Everything was super clean and the location was off the road and nice and private. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!
I had a great stay at this property. It’s small, but not in a bad way. Very well appointed and had everything you’d need. The fireplace makes for a relaxing stay.
Cabin was as described, very clean and neat, well stocked with cookware, dishes, grill, etc. I was even able to do my yoga workout casting to the big TV. We definitely enjoyed the screened in porch as well as the peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again!!
Great location; secluded and quiet in the woods with the sounds of Whitetop Creek nearby. Perfect for our anniversary get-a-way. A short distance from Grayson Highlands SP where we hiked and bouldered each day. Also close to the top end of the Virginia Creeper trail where we biked on the last day. Very clean, modern rustic cabin. We’ll stocked with kitchen accessories for cooking meals. We loved eating in each night as we relaxed to the evening sounds. Deer visited each morning. Great place!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay after riding the Creeper Trail and we're already planning our next stay when we visit Grayson Highlands State Park. Cabin is everything advertised and more--we agreed that it was our best VRBO ever!
Everything about this cabin is wonderful, the location & ease of access, the condition of the property, the decor, provided amenities. It rained the entirety of our stay & we were perfectly content. Grayson Highlands is approx 8 miles up the road. This is a lovely little getaway spot & we will certainly be back!
Perfect location for hiking Grayson Highlands and riding the Creeper trail and so much cuter than a hotel! It is tiny but was perfect for us! I would love to stay for longer next time to enjoy the fire ring and do more hiking. It is very close to the Creeper Trail bike rental so we added that at last minute and loved it! (Still recommend reservations- we got lucky) The owner gave great instructions for check in and. suggestions for dinner and activities. The cabin is super clean. The upstairs loft is truly a loft- no upright standing for tall sons- but perfect for sleeping. And the wi-fi works! Would stay again and would recommend to others.
We would highly recommend staying here as we really enjoyed it. While we read the place was small, we were initially a bit surprised how small it was, particularly the loft, which has a very low ceiling. A child could walk upright there, but an adult would have to bend over. Still, it fit our family of three quite well and there was adequate space for all three of us and our things for a week-plus stay. The remote location was excellent. We woke up each morning to deer grazing and frequently saw deer and rabbits on the property, which we enjoyed. We enjoyed spending time on the screened-in front porch. Memory foam mattresses made for comfortable sleeping. There are two small stores that sell groceries and gas close by, which is helpful. We were also pleased to see that it was clean, well-kept, an it had a new feel to it. While there isn’t much cell service in the surrounding area, we did have Wi-Fi in the cabin. Overall, it was an excellent experience. We would stay here again if we return to the area.
Communication was on point! This tiny cabin is indeed tiny! But it did everything that we needed it to do. Perfect proximity to Grayson Highlands, State Park, and surrounding towns.
