Our family booked this cabin to have a family Christmas. 18 of us stayed for 3 nights. The cabin was a little smaller than what the pictures showed. There were broken tiles in the kitchen that one of our adults cut their foot on and the lights on the Christmas tree didn’t work (which was disappointing). Other than those things we really enjoyed our stay there. The kitchen came well equipped with everything we needed to help prepare our meals and there were plenty of towels and space for our big family. If they would make some small repairs, this would have been a perfect trip. The only other complaint would be that it was difficult to reach the host over the weekend. I sent several messages and never received a response.
The cabin was so spacious and wonderful to stay in. My group had a great time and there was plenty of room for everyone. The only downfall was that the water smelled terribly of sulfur. We had to buy drinking water and it was almost unbearable to shower. Other than that though it was a really great cabin and I would love to stay again.
Absolutely gorgeous property but the tiles were broken in the kitchen so you had to be careful where you stepped. Also the hot tub leaked through the floor to the area below leaving quite a mess. Other than that it was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay.
Very nice well equipped cabin. Rooms were nice, plenty of dishes and other supplies for 20 people as advertised.
We had the absolute best Mini vacation to the woods in this cabin! Easy to find, great amenities, and reasonable drive to downtown Logan to pick up pizza. Short drive to old mans cave to hike. We can’t wait to come back!
We had a great time staying here, plenty of space, great views and having 2 hot tubs was a bonus! We took this time just to relax but it’s definitely near things if you need to go out.
We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. The kitchen was very equipped and we had plenty of rooms, beds, bathrooms and towels. Would like to have a TV in basement but pool table and hot tubs were fun. Maintenance was very prompt when we called for a bathroom problem.
The house was beautiful - just needs minor upkeep things - fridge has a water & ice dispenser but apparently not hooked up to water supply. There are missing door shelves on the fridge. Soap dispensers were mostly water. There is an abundance of plates and bowls - just way short on spoons which we purchased & left for the next occupants. The main hot tub cover is water logged and in need of being replaced - we did the daily treatment of chemicals but still had the brown color. There was no closet up in the honeymoon bedroom to hang clothes plus some of the lights up there did not work. When it rained, ground leveling decking was extremely slick as water could not drain off. Having wifi, laundry facilities and a second cable tv would be a plus for this beautiful house.
This was a great vacation. We only stayed 2 days but I would recommend this place to anyone. Plenty of space, parking and a great location. A+
We had a great time in Hocking Hills, the house is so close to all the hiking. It was very clean and great for a large group!
Beautiful house. Directions were accurate and the host was very good about answering all of our questions. A little disappointed about the hot tub, only one jet worked and there were 9 girls for a girls trip. Also, 8 ball was missing so we didn't get to play on the pool table. Bring extra blankets, basement rooms are a little chilly. Patio tables are held together with zip ties. For the price of the place, I thought things should have been kept up on a little better. Scenery was beautiful and location is great. Very close to hiking and general store to get some last minute necessities was nice and convenient. We had a great time!
spacious perfect cabin for the weekend! we loved it!!
Loved all the space to spread out, the kitchen had everything needed, perfect location, nicely furnished and comfortable!
It worked well for our group. Some things were broken/needed tightened up but it didn’t affect our experience. Easy check in and check out. Hocking Hills was great too!
