This property is located on a 65 acre farm on the Shenandoah River.

We had a good time at the Lodge. The weather ended up being warmer than expected, so we got to enjoy hiking and seeing the caverns. The Lodge sits on top of a very steep hill, with a beautiful view. The steep drops made enjoying the property with an active toddler pretty nerve wracking. I thought there would be much more for her to explore on the farm. The hot tub, pots and pans, and the blankets could have used a second cleaning before we arrived. Overall, it was a cozy cabin and lovely long weekend!

The cabin was nice, the views were beautiful

The location was ideal. The cabin was clean. The description does not say it does not include linens. It says and also lining provided 25 per set, which was unclear. It says it sleeps 6 but there not enough bath towels for 6. The washcloths that were there were damp. It appears to us that the dryer vent is clogged preventing clothes from fully drying. Well water was not specified and a member of our party was sensitive. The carpenter bees kept us from enjoying the decking outside.

Cabin is great! Awesome view outside via large wrap around porch. Campfires in the evening. Kids catching crawdads and fishing on the beautiful river down the hill behing the cabin. Super safe, super quiet. 20-25 min drive to Shenadoah River Outfitters for rafting/tubing and about the same to get to Skyline Drive. Lots of stores (big box and local) are convenient within a couple miles. Overall great location and great cabin. Super easy and cozy

This was exactly what we were looking for in a family vacation. The cabin was spacious, clean, and secluded. The wrap around deck was perfect and the views were amazing. The location was ideal It’s ten minutes from downtown Luray and 20 min from the Thornton Gap park entrance. Patricia was an excellent host, when we found out the first morning that the coffee pot was cracked she ran a new one up to us that morning. I can’t recommend this enough for a family retreat.

If you are a hiker this location is perfect for the Thortan Gap entrance to the Shenandoah National Park. Mary’s rock was a beautiful hike, Dark hollow falls and Stoney Man are all close by. House meets your needs for an easy weekend getaway totally unplugged. No WiFi.

Great property, close enough to town but nice and peaceful.

We enjoyed recharging our batteries with our weekend at the lodge. Beautiful home and views. We loved sitting at the firepit catching up with our dear friends who came along with us. Lots of fresh air and laughter. If you need a get away, I highly recommend this home.

The property is very spacious and beautifully designed. The sunsets and night star gazing were a few of our favorite views. We were able to bring our cats and they had the time of their lives exploring around the few rooms they had access to. This was the most relaxing and amazing trip we have had. I highly recommend this cabin. We will be returning with our son next year.
