A great night’s sleep awaits at this cozy Saugatuck cabin. One of the bedrooms sits on the upper level and the other is located off the kitchen on the first floor. Both bedrooms feature comfortable queen-sized beds with brand-new Casper mattresses and tasteful nature-inspired decor. There is a comfy sofa bed in the living room to accommodate additional guests.

There is one full bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of counter space upstairs. There is also a half bathroom connected to the downstairs bedroom.

☆☆ KITCHEN & LOUNGE ☆☆
The bright, airy open concept kitchen and living room make it easy to hang out as a group no matter which room you’re in. The charming full kitchen features spacious countertops, a nice collection of spices, and all the essential cookware and dishes you’ll need to cook and serve home-cooked meals. Enjoy your meals at the kitchen counter (seating for three), or eat as a group at the large dining table (seating for six).

Did we mention the fully-stocked coffee bar The hardest decision in the morning will be whether to enjoy a home-brewed cup while relaxing on the back patio or to walk downtown to enjoy a cup of coffee at Uncommon Grounds. We recommend doing both!

The comfortable living room features high ceilings and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Find your favorite spot on the plush sofa and chairs and stream shows or movies on the flat-screen Smart TV. Or, simply curl up with a blanket and enjoy each other’s company over a puzzle or board game. The highlight of this space is the beautiful floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace (currently for ambiance, not for use).

☆☆ OUTDOOR SPACE ☆☆
Although located just a short walk from Saugatuck’s downtown area, you’ll feel worlds away in this tranquil cabin. The cabin is surrounded by lush woodland, and you can enjoy the peace and serenity of the area from the screened-in porch or the private deck.

The screened-in porch is the perfect place to curl up with a good book or practice your morning meditation. The expansive deck features multiple seating areas for eating, hanging out, or enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. There’s also a grill located at the bottom of the stairs, in case the weather is nice enough for a BBQ.

Once you’re ready to leave the cabin behind and explore the area, all the main attractions are just a few minutes away! Make the short drive to Oval Beach, or walk downtown to enjoy a scoop (or three) of ice cream at Charlie’s.

We had a mom & daughters weekend away in this cute little cabin (4 of us). Check in was easy with the instructions given. Beds are very comfortable, including the pull out sofa. Our host was great with communication & responsive to our needs when there was a power outage in the town. The only improvement we would suggest is a working grill. We had planned to grill one of our meals since we noted there was a grill available. However the grill was not available for use. Other than that, the cabin was perfect for us and we enjoyed walking to town each day and the beautiful surroundings:)

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house. It was great to have a well equipped kitchen available and prepare lunch or dinner when we felt like it, but also to be within walking distance to downtown Saugatuck's coffee shop and restaurants. The place has a very good shower, we slept really well, and it was nice to wake up and walk into the cooler living room with trees surrounding the place. During one evening walk, we were stared at by a couple of deer, just in the middle of the very pleasant neighborhood. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The cabin is an authentic log cabin with exposed logs on walls and stairs and an open living area. The entry is on the second floor along with one bedroom and bathroom. There is a view of Lake Kalamazoo from both the deck and secluded screened in sitting porch. The cabin is located at the top of the hill in a quiet part of the Saugatuck neighborhood. It’s a walkable distance to downtown and a short drive to Douglas. The hosts were very responsive and provided what we needed for a comfortable stay.

We loved the location of this authentic cabin in that you could walk or drive to Saugutauck so easily. Nestled in a neighborhood , this cozy cabin offered the amenities with cozy decor, back deck for cocktails or reading. Perfect for ladies getaway . The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 was because description didn’t mention stairs right upon entering the cabin that were necessary to get to main living area. To be fair It does show them , we just didn't ask about this advance so our fault. If you have a few mobility issues in your party just know in advance to plan . Still a wonderful charming place to stay with all of the amenities and comfy beds! The area is beautiful! The only other suggestion I would make is lighting above table to play cards but that could be our age too! ?

It's old, it's musty, it's a bit odd. You don't get a sense of the look of the cabin by the pictures at all. The bedrooms are so small that the beds are full size. Not a whole lot of room to put your belongings. My husband and I who are not large people by any means, were on top of each other while trying to sleep. It was so uncomfortable. The second bedroom which is on street level is about the same size. We didn't stay in that room. The full bathroom is on the street level of the cabin, so you are climbing stairs. There is a super small bathroom in the main floor bedroom, so that helped with all the stair climbing.I read all the reviews, most saying it was nice, close to downtown. That part is true, it is close, but the town isn't that big or far from the water. The porches are not relaxing. You walk off the street to a front porch a few steps down, enter the cabin to a full flight of stairs down again to the main floor areas and 2nd bedroom. The back porch off the kitchen is a table & 4 chairs, nothing really comfortable to sit at. The small stairs down to the grill are steep. The grilling area has no room to stand. There is not fire pit area, hot tub etc. Which for the price, should offer something. The cabin is located on a beautiful street with well maintained homes around it, with beautiful fire pit areas, parking, etc. This cabin you are parking on the street with a permit The cabin itself feels like it is being swallowed whole by vegetation. Not worth it at all.

What a wonderfully warm and cozy cabin! Such a great location in a quiet neighborhood yet very close to all the action of downtown Saugatuk. There was so much to do and see, shopping and eating was fantastic, and then go back to the cabin and nestle in the trees to rest before the next adventure. Highly recommend for a comfy getaway!!

Charming property nestled into a gorgeous wooded area within walking distance of town. Easy parking and check-in/check-out. Super clean, spacious cottage with comfy beds and various spaces to just hang out. Loved both the deck and the upstairs screen porch. Had everything we needed to cook and other thoughtful amenities. Host was super responsive.

Our hosts were 5 star responsive. The cabin was super charming and rustic. Kitchen had everything we needed and full bath was updated and functional. The outdoor spaces were great. I would call out just two things..The cabin entrance is on the second floor, so a full flight of stairs down to living area. Could be an issue for someone with mobility limitations. Also, just be aware that there are no closets or hangers, but lots of hooks. A lovely setting and great location.

This cabin is tucked up in the hills which gives some privacy and seclusion, yet an easy 10 or so minute walk into town. Property is clean and layout is open and spacious. Loved relaxing in the screened in porch at the end of the day, with the luscious greenery from the trees all around us. Property host was always responsive within minutes. Overall this was a perfect spot to stay for my girlfriend and I for a 3 day get away for some shopping, eating, beach time and an amazing yoga/dinner at Hook. I highly recommend this property. Would be great for a family of 4 to 6 or 2 couples as well. We will be back!

What a beautiful, peaceful nest in the woods. We loved our week here, from the breezes on the screened porch to the soft bedding on perfectly cool nights to the addictively comfortable living room chairs and sofa. It's a perfect escape. Katie is a promptly responsive hostess, with information and recommendations that made a terrific week even better. The photos and description on this site are accurate. The cabin in the woods is a real find!
