The Yellowstone at Stoner Creek Cabins is one of eight identical modern cabins on ten wooded acres just past a residential neighborhood. We offer year-round comfort in a wooded setting. Completed in 2022, the brand new Yellowstone cabin is situated creekside. Listen to the sounds of Stoner creek babbling by while relaxing on your patio, at your fire pit, or from the comfort of the couch with the sliding doors opened.
Stoner Creek Cabins offers clean lines, modern efficiency, and thoughtful amenities. Our contemporary design is completed with Shou Sugi Ban siding, a sustainable preservation technique originating in Japan. The cabin may accommodate up to four people with one queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living space. The open concept kitchen and living area includes floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors that may be opened to experience the woods from the comfort of your couch. The cabin includes everything that you should need to feel at home! The kitchen provides a full-size refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine with all cooking and eating implements. The stacked front-loading washer and dryer includes complimentary laundry pods. Enjoy the outdoor space with a large deck, table and chairs, propane grill, lounge chairs and private fire pit.
We loved this modern cabin for our little family of 4. The hosts thought of every little detail and more. Our kids loved being able to go play in the creek directly below. We loved the outdoor indoor living feel. It was spotless and so clean. They provided cozy blankets, slippers and even a few toys for the kids. Our kids are 6 + 8 so they loved the stairs up to the loft- but if you have toddlers I could see that being a climbing issue- however the couch pulls out so there’s no need to go up there if you don’t want to. Ours wanted to sleep on the air mattress they provided so they loved that extra space! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed. We loved the Tamarack brewery for dinner near by. We will be definitely be staying here every time we come to visit! Thank you both!
LOVED everything about this tiny house!!! Didn’t want to leave. Every detail thought of. Thanks!!
We thought the location was centrally located as we ventured out to Kalispel and Whitefish. We stayed in the Yellowstone cabin and the space was sufficient for 2 adults and our puppy. It was nice that the floors were concrete due to the outside area being wet and a bit muddy from the snow melt during this time of year. The bed was very comfortable and there was everything you needed to cook/bbq at the place if you chose to do so. All the amenities were very nice and well thought out. Michelle and David were very accommodating with questions and they provided us many restaurants to choose from for a birthday dinner (we ended up going to Jalisco Cantina in Whitefish and it was delicious and had a great atmosphere)! They also provided an empty growler to fill up with beer at Tamarack Brewing in Lakeside and also dropped off a bottle of champagne for the birthday boy! :-) For the dog, they provided doggy bags, a pan to wash off your dogs feet and a towel to wipe the dog off along with a nice treat for the pup! We did find out that there aren't a lot of dog friendly restaurants due to the time of year and their patio's not being open quite yet. If you are looking for privacy in the evenings, there are no curtains in this cabin in the living room/kitchen area. Overall we had a great time in Lakeside and enjoyed the trip and will definitely go back! Thanks again David and Michelle
We booked the cabin to be close to a wine dinner at a nearby restaurant and close to Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. It worked out perfectly for us.
