The ultimate up north cabin experience

The Host are very accommodating and quick to respond to inquiries. Location of Cabin to town is a plus. The lake view is outstanding.

We had a great stay at this cabin. Big enough to fit a family of 7 but also small enough to keep us all bottled in one living area. The lake is beautiful. The water was clean even in late summer. Would highly recommend to friends and family looking to get away from the hustle and bustle city lights.

Right on the water, take a few steps and you can go fishing! Third time staying here and we plan on coming back.

This place is amazing. The cabin is great and well stocked with everything you could need. We enjoyed the two kayaks, canoe and row boat. We caught a lot of fish, and big fish (27 inch Walleye, 16 inch Largemouth) - and put them all back for you! Very close to everything to do in Nisswa and Brainerd. If you are looking for a great place in Central MN, this is the spot.

Great cabin, very clean. Location was nice and close to town. Fishing and swimming was excellent.

Every year myself and some buddies go on a fishing trip to different lakes in Minnesota. I am glad we picked The ultimate North Cabin Experience as this was one of the best places we have stayed. Check in was simple, the cabin was clean, and was well stocked with everything we needed including towels, toilet paper, very nice cookware, a brand new gas grill, firewood etc. it was also extremely clean and the cabin had a wonderful view and was quiet. We were able to meet Tom the owner as he was doing some yard work and he was very personable and a great guy. The cabin is very kept up and you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in the condition of the cabin. The fishing was also outstanding. I would highly recommend this cabin and will be returning in the future.

We absolutely love staying here. Right in the water so we can go out and fish whenever we want. The hosts are so kind and responsive.

Perfect

We loved our time here! The kids had a great time on the beach and the water was clear and warm! We watched the sunset from the dock every night and my son made his first s'more. The firewood provided was really nice convenience! Note for others with small kids - we brought a baby gate with us as there are 2 sets up stairs (up/down). This was a lifesaver with a busy 16m old.

Overall very comfortable. Easy lake access. Close enough to town to drive in for the day. Great communication.

We are about to be empty nesters and wanted to spend a few days away from home to enjoy the kids before they head off to college. The property was exactly what we needed. I booked it specifically for the 2 bedrooms, one of them having twin beds so my girls didn’t need to sleep in the same bed because they are 21 and 18 and don’t love to do that anymore. A bonus for me was no tv in the living room. There was a nice area in the basement for dad to go in the morning before everyone got up and enjoy his coffee and watch some tv. Also nice was 2 toilets. The location was quiet and secluded. The lake was perfect for our needs and the fishing kept us busy. A great property. Will definitely return.

This was our second stay for our annual family reunion that took place nearby. Perfect quiet get away. Great accommodations and setting right on the lake. Looking forward to next year!

This cabin/lake home was just what we needed for our little 4h of July getaway! It was clean and equipped with the essentials, and we appreciated that the owners have kept the vintage decor. It felt very “Minnesota cabin” and we loved the unique layout. Our 2 year old loved playing on the little beach area and in the shallow water. It was also nice to have Crosslake and Pequot within a 10-20 min drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and yet nice and quiet at night. Spacious area for lounging and the lake it beautiful for swimming and boating! Would stay again!

Everything about this cabin met our wants and needs. It was in the perfect spot, right on the water so we could get up and fish whenever we wanted. It was gorgeous inside and made good use of the space. It had everything we needed to cook and clean while we stayed there. The host Kim was super responsive and kind. We will definitely be coming back to stay at this cabin!!! Highly, highly recommend!!

Nice house for one family. Dock and ammenities were nice extras. Kids had great time fishing from dock and kyaks. No hot tub as indicated. Would totally stay again!

This rental was perfect for our family get away. Situated close to the lake with quiet neighbors. Located off the main road provided for quiet walks. The lake presented many opportunities for Good Fishing and bird watching.
