This property is located on Stevenson Ridge which includes a variety of unique historical buildings to stay in! We stayed just for 1 night while passing through on a road trip and we were thrilled to find a place with a wood burning fireplace. The tobacco barn was stocked with firewood and they thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Small details like a record player, playing cards, a guest book from past visitors, neat decor, cool artwork, and MORE kept us busy and entertained! There was an awesome collection of DVDs but we opted for record player music and chatter around the fire instead. In the morning we enjoyed coffee and walked around the ridge property to check it out. We’ll be back to stay again and plan to bring our dogs next time!! A fun little getaway and great way to disconnect. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at the Tobacco Barn. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and arrived to champagne and a card from the staff. A sweet little touch! The cabin was adorable, very clean, and cozy. It had everything we needed and was well stocked. I enjoyed having coffee on the porch swing. The property was very quiet and relaxing. Communication and checking in/out was extremely easy and stress free. We look forward to coming back in the future!
House was clean and unique! Such a cozy getaway house and was close to the Fredericksburg Nationals Stadium for a fun outing to the ballgame!
Loved our stay - very comfortable bed; kitchenette with everything we needed; lovely quiet location. We will be back.
Just so wonderful.
A beautiful little retreat from the moment we arrived. Tastefully decorated and delightful amenities. Fredericksburg, a short drive away, is a lovely town for strolling, and for history lovers, it's a bit of heaven. So pleased we stayed here.
The tobacco barn is a perfect getaway for couples, especially those who love history. The building has all its original charm coupled with wonderful modern amentities like a large shower with on-demand hot water. You can relax on the porch swing or tour the remains of Civil War fortifications on the property.
What an amazing experience I can’t even tell you how awesome this place is you have to experience it for yourself!
