The Serene Getaway

We love traveling & staying at different properties and this was a fabulous Thanksgiving getaway! The property itself was clean, quiet, so much to do. Gorgeous dock to fish off of & cozy fire pit to sit around. The house has EVERYTHING you need. The downtown of Mineola is very quaint for shopping & has several restaurants. The host was beyond accommodating. We will definitely be back in the summer & plan on renting the boat next time. A Must stay!!!!! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The house was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and the location was great for an event we were attending on the other side of the lake. We will definitely be back for another stay. Thank you!

Beautiful setting; Responsive host

We had a great weekend at the lake house. No one wanted to leave and we are already planning another stay.

The ease of being able to walk out on the dock and get in our boat was the best part. We live local but loading the boat on the trailer daily is exhausting. Beautiful to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the deck. Feeding the neighborhood ducks was fun. Family enjoyed being able to park and jump on the boat for the day. There was laundry in both dryer and washing machine along with dishes in the dishwasher upon arrival. I washed and folded. A light by the steps near the fan outside would be helpful. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice time staying on Lake Mineola. We went to fish, and it was a great place to stay and hang out right on the water. The small house is just the right size for a few people. The main house has 2 bedrooms and1 full bath. The other two bunkbeds and the full bath are in the backyard separate from the main house in a tiny guesthouse, but very close and convenient to the backdoor and nice porch! Thomas was super easy to get ahold of and communicate with before and during our stay! This a great place to go relax on the lake and have some fun in the country!

It was a great visit and stay at this location. We didn't realize it was two different structures until we were almost there. It did say it in part of the listing, but we had to dig for it. It all worked out great though! The outdoor space is amazing!

This property was everything as advertised and much more. The kitchen was well equipped. There was firewood for the fire pit and chairs on the dock. It is an easy walk to the lake and very peaceful. The beds were all clean and comfortable. We did not encounter any problems whatsoever, but I felt like Tommy would take care of anything if there was. Very, very happy!

Very nice relaxing

Amazing place on the water. We had a great time and didn’t want to leave! We participated in the Big Bass Splash and were conveniently located to Lake Fork! The host was beyond helpful in everyway!! We lacked nothing staying here! We Will definitely be back!!

Our family really enjoyed our trip to this cute Lake House. The farmhouse kitchen was sweet and very clean. The beds were so comfortable that I took a picture of the tag so that I can order me that same mattress. Our over all trip was perfect. The Lilypad Lake Float was a ton of fun. We will definitely book through Tommy again the next time we come to visit my Aunt in mineola , Texas. Gina

We really enjoyed our stay at Tommy’s place. It was very homey and Tommy was responsive before and throughout our stay. I didn’t realize this when we booked but the two twin bunkers are actually in a room detached from the main cottage. While our kids (7 &5) didn’t get up the courage to sleep on their own in that room they loved it as their little retreat to watch shows, at, etc. which was also great for my mom and I because we’d maintain the main part of the house.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway. We have stayed here before and its always a relaxing and beautiful place to stay.

Great place for our cousins’ weekend. Lovely and peaceful, cute and clean. Would absolutely stay here again.
