The Raven A-Frame - Modern Woodland Retreat near Hocking Hills and OU Campus

Lovely weekend retreat! Host literally thought of everything. Very clean, well kept, & with all necessary amenities. Would definitely stay again if back exploring the areas in and around Hocking Hills.

This house has everything you need! Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. We were very impressed upon arrival. So clean! Perfect place for a girls trip! We can’t wait to stay again!

The venue was exactly how it was listed. The host was really sweet and was able to support us through our stay! Would highly recommend for a family or a couples getaway! The venue was surrounded by woods and you felt like you were in your own private oasis. We enjoyed the amenities of the property and did not need to travel to enjoy our stay.

This place is beautiful! New and clean and every amenity you could think of! The outdoor jetted spa was great. It was a great place to relax and the proximity being close to town and close to hiking trails in Hocking Hills, makes it an ideal place to stay. I will say it is closer to the interstate than I thought it would be, and sometime we could hear the traffic. Besides that, we would definitely recommend and will stay again when we are in the area.

It was the most beautiful cabin we have ever stayed in. The owner thought of everything. Lots of attention to the details were noticed. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. The outdoor area had just as much to offer. We didn’t want to leave.

We had the most wonderful time at The Raven! Jennifer was so helpful and attentive which made the experience even better. The cabin is so cozy and the backyard space is relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!

We stayed at The Raven in Nelsonville for a 4 day weekend. My husband and I and our little girls loved this place! What a great place to rest after a day of hiking at hocking hills and a day of tubing on the hocking river. The place was clean, well laid out, and there was no guess work on how things worked. No weird smells, well decorated, but not pretentious. You are completely secluded in the woods and besides hearing the highway every so often, almost completely quiet. The firepit, back deck, and hottub were a favorite as well. The hosts were super communicative and welcoming. Easy entrance to the a frame was a relief as we’ve had trouble in the past. I only gave the location 3 stars for reasons outside the hosts control. Nelsonville is by far a small town we’ve never experienced before. Somewhat run down and the grocery stores and local restaurants reflect that a bit. We realized this about halfway through the trip and kept our meals to the Athens area, which is 15-20 min away. But the kitchen is beautiful and has everything you need to make a great home cooked meal.

Everything was seamless!5 mins away from essentials but felt secluded.Very clean. Great communication. Wonderful recommendations. 10 out of 10. We hope to stay again!

Every room was immaculate, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the space fresh and inviting.The cabin came stocked with all the necessities we could possibly need. It made settling in so easy and stress-free.The peaceful surroundings, combined with the comfort and cleanliness of the cabin, made it truly relaxing and memorable. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place to unwind.

Everything was so very extremely clean, the house is awesome. Everything worked as it should! Sweet little place! Wouldn’t even know there were neighbors in the area!

This was an amazing spot to stay with my kids! Beautiful home. Great location, not far from Hocking Hills! Relaxing and Jennifer really did not forget anything as far as comfort and amenities go! We would definitely go back 100% recommend!

We had an amazing weekend. Although we couldn't hike on Saturday due to the rain, the house is a great place to spend a rainy day.

The Raven is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the Hocking area and beyond. The place was very clean and accomodating. The host was very good at communicating and making sure everything was fine. It's clear that they want their guests to feel at gome. Inwould highly recommend!

Exceptional!!! Very romantic, quiet , and relaxing. I knew this place was perfect when my husband kept expressing how great it was and how the hosts literally thought about EVERYTHING you could possibly need. This was an anniversary trip for us and the minor details to everything was a major plus. Interaction with the host was very quick and the extended check out is greatly appreciated! Thank you is not enough words we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Raven. The host went way overboard to add little comforts from snacks to coffee and creamer to firewood. We really enjoyed all aspects of stay and visit to the area. We will be back

Love the attention to detail, cleanliness, and location. 15 min away from hiking and if you stay here, you have to try the Mine Tavern.

I stayed at the cabin by myself the first night so I could stay focused on a work project. It was the perfect place to work! It was also the perfect place to relax and enjoy a fire! Extremely clean and stall of amenities. Probably the best stocked rental you can find!
