We really enjoyed our stay at the Pondominium. It was relaxing and quiet. We used it as home base to drive to the Porkies for hiking each day. We had never tried a sauna before but used it twice and really enjoyed it, especially after a long day of hiking.

It was a great place to stay. Very relaxing in a quaint, cozy chalet. We even stayed and extra night because we didn't want to go home. We will be back in the future. There was so much to do at the chalet. Owners thought everything out to make a stay a pleasant one. The workmanship of chalet was to perfection.

We enjoyed our fall weekend in northern Michigan! The sauna was such a bonus, the mattresses were comfortable, kitchen is just what you need, the deck is right out of a Dream, and the outhouse was clean and pleasant. The owners think of everything and are great hosts. We forgot kayak paddles and he loaned us theirs. Great place to stay!

We had a lovely weekend at the Pondominium! Rolf greeted us Friday night and showed us around, and had the sauna all set to go for us to use. The next day we had rented a 4 wheeler to explore the area, but ended our rental a couple hours early so we could get back to the Pondo with enough time to hang out on the patio, swim, and grill steaks over the camp fire. Then it was sauna time—what a great experience! The kitchen is well stocked, everything is pristine and well cared for on this property and we would highly recommend it to anyone! Can’t wait to come back in the fall sometime!

We had a great first trip to the UP! The Pondominium is beautiful, quiet, peaceful. The hosts were very communicative, and had a lot of information about the area. The Pondominium is located near many nice trails leading to waterfalls and other great views! We would definitely recommend to anyone!!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Pondominium! Rolf and Beth were kind and answered any questions we had. We loved the peacefulness of the little cabin and pond. The sauna and rope swing were our favorites! Surrounding area is beautiful and definitely worth exploring the hiking trails!

The reason we stayed at the Pondominium was because we were traveling to Ironwood to scatter my mom's ashes... a very sad occasion. I had been searching for a place to stay and the first picture I saw of the cabin drew me in! It's even better in person! The pond was very healing and peaceful. We had beautiful weather and sat outside many hours. Couldn't have picked a more restorative place to stay. Quiet, private, picturesque, soothing, and simple - these would be adjectives to describe this destination. It had everything we needed to be still. Everything about it was perfect for us. The sauna was hot and ready to enjoy when we arrived! The hosts are very close on the property, but after our check in - we never saw or heard them at all. But, knew we could reach them if we had any issues (which we did not). I would say you wouldn't find another property like this one - because that private pond is so unique and truly beautiful! Saw an otter, ducks, and lots of birds! This is a gem of a place! I imagine it's spectacular in the winter! Oh - and the outhouse was a first for us! It was clean with no bad odors, and VERY well lit at night!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this cozy little cabin. The compact nature of the cabin gave us a taste of living smaller; which is something we've entertained as a retirement plan. The sauna was a real treat and we made good use of it after our days out on snowmobiles. It's outhouse was pretty nice as far as outhouses go; but I suggest the addition of an electric heated toilet seat for the comfort of winter users. That tiny inconvenience is the only reason the Pondomonium doesn't get a glowing five star rating from us.
