The Old Factory Getaway: Experience Life on the Little Missouri River

Everything was clean, good location and appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make meals. Our family had a great time!

This was the perfect little cabin for my family. My adult kids and my 9yo loved our stay. The cabin, the outside space, the porches, and amazing views are 5 star! We enjoyed deer every morning, and just being there is so much fun.

Our stay at the cabin in Arkansas was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled right on the river, the location was absolutely perfect.. peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch while watching the water, and our evenings playing family games. Only thing we’d change was a longer stay!

My husband and I rented the cabin for the weekend with our two daughters, age 8 and 4. We all enjoyed it so much! We had gone crystal digging and diamond digging, but if you were to ask everyone what their favorite part was: we would all say the cabin! The girls loved having their own little room upstairs. We sat on the porch in rocking chairs and watched the deer. Our favorite spot was the deck; laying in the hammock and sitting on the swing, listening to the river. When the dam was open, the sound of the rushing water was so peaceful. When it closed, we were able to splash around in the clear water. No one ever said they were bored. We explored the river & woods. There were several games at the cabin for us to play. Normally, by the end of a trip, we are all ready to get back to our own beds, but this was not the case. We did not want to leave! I cannot say enough good things about this little cabin & the owner is the sweetest. We will definitely be staying here again.

If you are looking for a clean, quiet and serene escape this is the place. We enjoyed our relaxing first trip to Murfreesboro. Would definitely return.

Amazing back deck. Enjoyed grill and fire pit. Smores were great. Comfortable beds. Could use 913 pan in kitchen and microwavable dishes. Kids suggested a firepole from loft to kitchen.(haha). Would definitely stay again.

Very nice cozy cabin tucked away by the Little Missouri River. The host provides everything you need for a quick trip or extended vacation. Recommend 100%.

The place exceeded our expectations it was great!!!

Such a peaceful place to stay right on the river. This is the perfect getaway from it all but still close enough to great food and things to do. The diamond mining tools were a great plus but unfortunately we did not strike it rich! We will definitely keep this place in mind for a future booking in the area.

A perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying nature. The wrap-around porch overlooking the river provides a perfect place to eat and visit while being outdoors. Everything you would need has been thought of and provided - utensils, pots and pans, electric griddle, oven, microwave, etc. There is plenty of seating in the living room, comfortable beds, internet, cable, a firepit, outside lighting and much more. You couldn't ask for a more comfortable and well thought out getaway. Definitely want to come back soon.

Very clean and comfortable cabin. Conveniently located. Had everything we needed including mining equipment. Loved seeing all the deer every day. We didn’t realize the entrance for upstairs was outside, but it was fine with our older kids. We did like there was a “trap door”, so we could conveniently communicate between upstairs and downstairs.

This was our second stay at the cabin, it was just as fantastic as the first! We especially loved the back deck, it seems as if you are hovering in the trees! Lots of great activities in the area plus excellent restaurants!

The cabin has a new paint color from the picture in the listing so we were a bit confused for a minute. Adorable cabin and we loved the gated wrap around porch for the dogs. The access to the second bedroom was from the outside only and I was a bit concerned about my young boys but luckily they stayed put. Otherwise it was a wonderful, comfortable place to stay.

Property was just as advertised, right on the river. Very quiet.

Beautiful location, plenty of woods and space to feel private, river access is great for kids to play and fish... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

Enjoyed our quick getaway. Quiet and secluded. Comfortable. The only thing that would make this a 10, is better access to the river and a sitting area near the water. Otherwise overall very nice.

The place was amazing! Very clean and spacious yard. It feels really remote but it actually is not very far to town.

We stayed for two night for our anniversary. It was perfect! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. My favorite part was sitting on the back porch swing while listening/watching the water from the Little Missouri River. It was so peaceful.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at the Old Factory Getaway. The cabin had everything we needed and the location was perfect. He fished in the river and I relaxed on the back porch. It was a quick drive to Crater of Diamonds State Park and the restaurants in town. Definitely recommend!

The cabin was perfect for the two of us, although it has another bedroom with two beds upstairs with a half bath, which has it's own access outside on the side of the cabin via the stairs. We really loved sitting out on the back porch. Very peaceful, clean, and comfortabke.

Worked great for my son and I. Could have accommodated a family of four reasonably comfortably.

The second bed room is outside up the stiars no convenient when its pouring rain all day. No water pressure in the shower. And if you have ATT you will have no cell service. The tv is in the kitchen so you can not watch it from the living room.

Cozy cabin right on the river with lots of amenities. Some of our most enjoyable moments were sitting on the back porch swing watching and listening to the river(in march so the river was full of fast moving water and the neighbors where doing some fly fishing), sitting on the front porch rocking chairs, using the mining tools at the Crator of Diamonds state park where we also hiked some trails, and just slowing down and unwinding. On the last day we went to the Riverside picnic area at the Narrows dam just a few min drive and enjoyed the playground and fishing that it had to offer. Some things to note, the stairs to the second floor are outside but not a hassle, and we brought our own charcoal for the grill. We brought our own food because there is not many options in the small town near by. Overall we really enjoyed it, the host was accommodating, and we would recommend this place to stay.

This is the cutest cabin. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the river. It was quiet and peaceful. We saw deer. It wasn't far from town either.

Convenient to town and restaurants, but far enough out to enjoy the stars and sounds of the River.

Property was nice and as listed. Cabin was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our trip. I recommend writing the door code down prior to arrival as we did not have phone service. The internet provided was fast and we were able to connect our phones to the wifi

The cabin was perfect for our family. Clean and had all the necessary amenities. It is right on the beautiful river which can be enjoyed while sitting on the back porch swing or hammock. Thanks for an incredible stay.

A nice cabin over looking the river. Peaceful

My husband and I took five of our grandchildren, ages 5 -16, to stay at this adorable cabin for six days. The cabin was a little smaller than I had anticipated with all these children, but they loved it! They had the best time playing in the river and playing in the front area! We also made smores in the firepit and roasted marshmallows. The deck overlooking the river was a favorite of everyone, but we had to take kitchen chairs outside to accommodate everyone, because only four were provided. The kitchen had everything we needed except a drain basket for clean dishes (no dishwasher) and the coffee cups were just too small. We remedied that by buying some disposable cups. The washer and dryer were very handy and got a lot of use. Our hosts were extremely gracious, and while we didn't need to call them for anything during our stay, I feel sure they would have taken care of any issue. I gave the cabin 4 stars over all because there was no dishwasher and no good way to drain dishes. I used lots of paper plates, although there were enough dishes had I chosen to wash them. Great TV service, but sometimes phone texts and pictures would not go through--not an issue. We made some great memories!

We had a wonderful time, the kids enjoyed being so close to the river they got to play in the water, it was very clean, very accommodating, nice that it had the towels, soap, laundry on site. The owners were easy to contact and answered all questions. Kitchen had everything you could have needed. If we come back to the area we will stay here again. Kids did not want to leave.
