Cosy, well stocked and clean cabin in a very quiet place. There’s a small lake and a fire pit in the backyard. Very relaxing.

Pictures did it no justice . Wonderful stay and wonderful cabin. We had such a lovely Thanksgiving. So close to Skyline Drive too. Cabin was clean, well stocked, everything we needed was there. The pond was such a peaceful bonus. Highly recommended for a quirt retreat...even with kids we still found it peaceful! Kids loved it there.

This was a fantastic find! Great location and close to everything yet very quiet and quaint! The owners of this cabin did a fantastic job with little extras and having all the comforts of home. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Absolute gem of a property. Cottage was perfect in every way. Well maintained, immaculate condition, clean as clean can be and the owners are just the nicest most accommodating folks. Nice easy drive down to the UVA area to see our daughter and catch a football game. Would not stay any where else when we visit the area!

My husband and I had an excellent stay at the Natchez! The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed and more (thank you for the extra touches, Ken and Debra)! This was a perfect home base for our trip. We saw a concert in Charlottesville, spent a day in Shenandoah NP, and spent a day in West Virginia/New River Gorge NP. In-between, we rested, cooked, grilled, and lounged in the sun at the Natchez. Communication was excellent, check-in was easy, and we experienced no issues at all. We HIGHLY recommend The Natchez!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The cabin was perfect. The hosts have everything that could be needed in the cabin for the guests. Everything about our weekend was perfect!!!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The hosts were superb. An open line of communication from the very minute we booked. Such a relaxing stay. The pond for fishing was a thrill for our preteens every morning. After a day of hiking at Shenandoah, sitting around the firepit was a delight. Listening to the frogs at night was so peaceful for sleep. We'd love to visit again sometime.

Beautiful weekend here at The Natchez. Snow falling and a warm fire inside. Perfect. It has a well stocked kitchen, plenty of supplies, and convenient to everything. Couldn’t ask for more.

The Penningtons were wonderful hosts. Very attentive and concerned for everything to be perfect. We stayed the weekend for my wife’s birthday. Everything was perfect. Thank you both for the awesome experience.

Host was very welcoming. Cute place. Unfortunately, the lady bugs were everywhere inside and out of the house. Seems to be the season. Perfect location for wedding of my niece at Renback Barn.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was closely located to the wineries in Northern, VA. The cabin was cozy, fully stocked and immaculate. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Natchez last week! Ken and Debra are the ultimate hosts, and the word I would use to describe the property and amenities is “Plenty.” There was more than enough towels, blankets, condiments, equipment, movies, supplies, etc. if you needed it, chances were it was there in duplicate and an extra flavor to boot! Thank you for a memorable stay. We enjoyed it immensely!!

Amazing experience! Everything was clean and so well stocked. The kitchen had everything little that we needed for our stay! The host stopped by to welcome us and was very kind. Beautiful area and not too far from charlottesville where we were attending a concert. Would definitely love to come back to the area and spend some more time here and when we do I would definitely book here again! Or maybe we’ll end up re locating to the area in a few years!

The Natchez was great! Exactly as it was described online. Comfortable with all amenities. It was a great location for nearby wineries we visited over 2.5 days. Well appointed kitchen and toiletries too. Definitely will be back and would recommend to others! Cheers.

We stayed here after helping our daughter and grandkids relocate overseas and needed a calm place to decompress. This home was absolutely perfect—quiet, clean, beautifully stocked, and full of thoughtful touches. The fresh linens, snacks, wine, and cozy atmosphere made us feel truly cared for. We’d definitely stay again!

The Natchez in Ruckersville is equidistant from the Shenandoah National Park entrance at Swift Gap and Charlottesville. We spent time in both, in this well equipped, cozy cabin as our home base. And there are plenty of fine wineries nearby as well. Enjoyed our stay!

We were in town for a concert at UVA. The hosts were super welcoming, even going above and beyond to make sure the grill on property was fixed before we got there. The house was cute and clean with everything that you could need. The outdoor amenities were awesome; we caught fish in the pond, grilled burgers, and enjoyed a campfire during our stay! If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again!

A very charming cabin nestled in beautiful Green County, VA. A great base for bicycling, restaurants and winery visits, which was our agenda.

We had high expectations of The Natchez given the number of outstanding ratings. It must be the highest rated place we have ever stayed. We were not disappointed. It is exactly as described. Immaculately clean and has every detail covered. And of course the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Highly recommended!

My friend and I stayed at the cabin for a girls weekend and it was GLORIOUS. Great location, hosts were superb in their communication and the cabin is perfect for a cozy and quiet get away. We slept with the windows opening, falling asleep to the frogs and crickets. Will definitely come back!

The cabin is beautiful, well maintained & fully stocked with everything you need & just about anything you could want. It was my cousin and I only. Not sure how comfortable it would be for 4 adults. Would rent again.

My partner and I wanted a getaway to go hiking on various trails in Shenandoah. This cabin was the perfect place as it was near many different trails and was very relaxing. Loved it.

My husband & I spent 3 nights here. The cabin is the perfect size for two although can sleep 4 comfortably. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the real fire place. Wood was supplied by the host. Cabin is easy to find and feels secluded even though it is very close to walmart and restaurants. We used it as home base and traveled to Front Royal, Skyline Drive, Harrisonburg and Charlottesville. Host has thought of everything you may need.We would stay again for sure. The Natchez was an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life — without being too far away from civilization! Located about 20mins north of Charlottesville, this cabin was great for a small group of friends or family. Since we were there during a real winter season, we took advantage of the fantastic wood-burning fireplace in the living area. The kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need, as were the bathrooms. Bedrooms had extra linens and blankets for cold nights. The cabin is cozily decorated throughout. Hosts Ken and Debra were accommodating and responsive, even providing a basket of snacks at our arrival. I would definitely recommend for cabin vibes without feeling too off the grid.

My husband and I went to Charlottesville to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We found this charming little cabin and booked it. Our hosts were very nice, and Ken worked so hard to shovel snow out of the drive before we arrived. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. It was a bit farther out than I realized when I made the reservation, but the bathroom is on the same level as the bedrooms, and that, along with the fireplace, sealed the deal!

This was our 2nd stay at the cabin for thr Thanksgiving weekend. We had an equally good time this year and the cabin is well kept with many extras.

My husband and I LOVED the staycation we got to have at the Natchez Cabin! The cabin was bigger and cozier than we expected and the fireplace and rocking chairs were great highlights of our weekend. We would highly recommend this place for a restful and peaceful break from everyday life!

Very cozy little place. The place was located perfectly for what we were looking for. We went horseback riding and hit many wineries. I highly recommend.

Very nice property. A bit tight, furniture wise, but comfortable. We appreciated them allowing us to use the fireplace, before their season started. (We were there Nov.1st). We would respectfully advice including that timeframe on their website. Overall pleased. Overall pleased.amenities, as most do.

Our 2nd stay was wonderful, especially with the fall foliage! Lake had plenty of little fish to catch too Our daughter goes to UVA and this is a perfect little getaway for her and for us! Close to campus for parents weekend. We went to a couple of wineries close by this time as well Very clean and all amenities you would need! Enjoyed the fire pit every night! Thank you!

The cabin is beautiful, very rustic. It was close enough to the city so we could go into town. We felt right at home, and we will be back again.

The cabin was great! The beds were comfy and the house was stocked with the most extras of any other rental I've stayed before.It was the prefect stop on our road trip.We highly recommend staying at the Natchez cabin!

The Cabin is very nice. The owners have done a very good job of providing items you wouldn't expect - coffee, bathroom items (shampoo, etc.), towels, paper towels and best of all a welcome basket of cookies. We left early due to the weather. All we had was rain. The things we had planned to do were all outdoor so we came home.

Great cabin used as a jump off location to go hiking in Shenandoah National Park. Perfectly located between the park & the city of Charlottesville. Cabin had everything one could need. Fully stocked with coffee, cooking & cleaning supplies, plenty of towels & linens. Locally there are a plethora of grocery stores for any other needed supplies. Owners were very hands off and are closely located in case any issue arises. Area is incredibly quiet and serene. AC is top notch too. 5 out of 5 stars
