We rented this cabin specifically for its advertised seclusion and privacy, but our experience was the complete opposite. When we arrived, the garage door was already open, and a worker was on the property doing a project across the driveway (he had the garage code to get in). He stayed until after 8 p.m., and since there are no blinds on the windows, he could see directly inside the house, making us very uncomfortable. The next day, we contacted the rental company, who said they didn’t know about the worker. After speaking with the homeowner, they assured us he would not return—but he came back every day for the next two nights. The property was also dirty, with dog poop upstairs, and the outdoor grill was unusable. Despite all this, the company only offered 50 and has since ignored my calls and messages. The house itself is beautiful, but there is absolutely no privacy, and the management is unresponsive—do not stay here.

This is a beautiful home, comfortable and well appointed. Bedrooms are spacious and cozy. Cabin feel throughout. Relaxation and panoramic views abound. Game room is a definite bonus. A great rental!

Overall, this is a well-appointed property with beautiful views. The house is easy to access and in a nice neighborhood. Communication with the property management was pretty easy, they texted with us back and forth. There were a few minor issues like light bulb under the microwave being out, the fireplace in basement not working, etc. but overall the house is in good shape. They could stand to mount a TV over the fireplace and upgrade the king size bed in the basement. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the dishes we need for cooking. Hot tub worked great. Would recommend this property!

The property is located at the top of the mountain and has beautiful views. The house was spacious with lots of common area and plenty of amenities to enjoy ( pool table, jacuzzi, game tables, etc)We had a couple issues and the response time was so delayed as to be unhelpful. Apparently power outages are common and we didn’t know how to reconnect the internet. A response hours later in the middle of the night was so late it was not helpful. The kitchen was spacious but lacked some quality tools like spatulas. Overall we had a wonderful stay and it waswas nice.

Delightful property. Up the mountain yet still close to town. Loved drinking coffee and watching the fog in the valley come and go. Keep an eye open for a mama bear and three cubs!

Lovely home with beautiful view, well stocked kitchen - we had a great time in Waynesville, and even got to see a mama bear and cub by the driveway! That being said there were a few areas that would have made it five star…the gas grill was dirty and out of gas, there were only two usable pool cues the others were missing tips, the fireplace downstairs would not stay lit, I think it may have been out of gas? There is construction on a lot below this house, so there was that construction noise M-F and it was a bit of an eye sore so we tried to take our pictures from an angle without it, but not a lot owners can do about that but it did affect our enjoyment of the porch/view. The last night we were there the neighbors with the locked gate were having a get together and were loud enough that we just went inside since it made it hard to enjoy the porch and nature. We did get a lot of joke mileage about having to supply our own TP…overall nice house.

This home was at the top of a mountain. It had stunning views of the valley below as well as of other mountains. The house itself was large. It could sleep 3 couples and two others. It was in great condition. The drive up the mountain was intimidating to some in the group. But the view made is. worthwhile. I highly recommend the house.
