I had such a wonderful stay at The Little Cabin! I really appreciated how welcoming and attentive Jeff and Barb were. They’re truly Superhosts — they checked in before my arrival and made sure I had all the details I needed for an easy, stress-free check-in. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything I could possibly need. Jeff and Barb even invited me to pick apples from their trees and left a thoughtful welcome gift. The location is peaceful and beautiful, yet still close enough to everything I wanted to explore. There’s plenty of space if you’re traveling with dogs, but it was also perfect for a solo retreat. I felt safe, comfortable, and completely relaxed. I’ll definitely be back!

This is a perfect weekend getaway cabin! It has all the basic amenities and was perfectly cozy. The hosts were friendly and it were easy to reach out to. The cabin is perfect for two people. Would highly recommend for any couple or solo traveler visiting the area.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Staying at The Little Cabin was so relaxing. The property is beautiful. Accents lighting came on at night and really enhanced the experience. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. They would check in and let us know about special events that were happening in the area. We will definitely come back and stay for a longer visit. Loved staying at this sweet little cabin while I was in Idyllwild for a writer's retreat. The cabin was so charming and you can tell a lot of care and consideration was put into every detail! I loved seeing the beautiful birds and cute squirrels playing through the huge picture windows from the couch, with my coffee each morning. The hosts were lovely and quick and easy to communicate with. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the patio and cute little seating area with a chiminea and market lights! Looking forward to another stay soon with my hubs and doggo.

The Little Cabin was like stepping out of everyday life and into a dream.This little home was absolutely adorable with everything needed for the perfect weekend with hubby and puppy.Not knowing what to expect, we brought our own linens but walking into such a clean, kept, cabin with a wonderfully comfortable bed and sheets and towels that appeared new, mine stayed in the car.Looking forward to returning in the fall to enjoy the harvest.Thank you Jeff and Barb. It was a great time in a great Little Cabin.

Private, quiet and well-equipped studio cabin. Large lot with trees. Clean. Responsive and friendly host. Good location not far from Village (we both walked and drove there). Dogs would love the huge fenced yard. Will stay here again.

Everything was great. Nice big yard that’s secured so our dogs could roam. Loved the shower and bed was good. Would definitely stay again.

A crazy winter storm showed up unexpectedly. I was so worried, but Jeff and Barb were so helpful. They shoveled us out, helped us drive onto the property. Always available to chat and checking in on us. It was wonderful having so much support. The property was beautiful! With the snow it was even more majestic. We arrived and the location was clean and tidy. We even got some beautiful welcome gifts.

This was our second time staying here and we will be back again. We love the giant gated yard for letting our dog roam around and chase squirrels. The location is perfect for getting into town or off to great trails. The space itself is very comfortable for us as well.

This was a great place to stay an amazing place if you love camping and nature, but don't necessarily want to camp in a tent.

The location was excellent and everything was very clean. The owners communicated very well. The only negative was the bed was too soft.

This was our fourth stay at the Little Cabin. As a couple with dogs, it is the perfect getaway for us. The Little Cabin has all the amenities we could need and a large fenced area for the dogs to play. It’s proximity to both hiking trails, neighborhood walks and downtown Idyllwild is ideal.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay at your cabin. It was cozy, clean and they outdid themselves on the attention to detail. They also left the most thoughtful gift of coffee mugs. Such a great touch! They were very responsive with any questions we had. We can’t wait until our next stay at The Little Cabin!

The little cabin is a gem, quiet and private. Beautifully appointed with fully equipped kitchen and a great shower. We lucked out and were able to pick apples off of one of several trees.

Perfect for the 2 of us and our pet Chihuahua. If you like lots of trees, birds, and squirrels with high bushy tails, this is the place to stay. Very close to downtown Idyllwild and also close to Taquitz Peak and Humber Park. Take a stroll on Ernie Maxwell Trail if you want an easy hike. We went halfway from the north end in one day and halfway from the south end on another day. We drank coffee from our Little Cabin coffee mugs every morning...nice gifts to take home!

Every thing was perfect on arrival, including check-in. I stayed here about a year and a half ago and was delighted to see all the improvements they have done since my last stay, not that anything was missing. A great place to take my dog and relax!

We had the BEST time! After a rather stressful few months at work I wanted to escape to the mountains and this was the perfect place to recharge. Lovely cabin, very clean, plenty of squirrels and birds to look at and listen to on the porch, cozy woodstove for chilly nights, we took walks every day and there’s lots of hiking trails! Walking to town is doable, just note there aren’t sidewalks but it’s a fun outing. Jeff and Barb were fantastic hosts, messaging us with current events in town if we wanted to attend, quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back and we’re going to bring our dog next time!

My husband and I and our lab spent two nights here. It was very comfortable and there is a peace that we felt the moment we got there. There are lots of trees and the squirrels and birds are very active. We truly felt we were surrounded by nature. The yard is huge and our lab loved running free and exploring. The cabin has everything you need for a great stay. Barb was a great host. She checked in and made sure we had everything and also made suggestions of music entertainment for the days we were there.

Hosts were fantastic and very proactive. The cabin was just as advertised. Really nice property in the trees. Had a very relaxing time and the town and locals in idyllwild are great. Very friendly licsls and good restaurants.

Spent a couple night with my dog. Property Managers 5 stars.Good comunication and very helpful. Cabin one room with kitchen bed and livingroom all together. Nice fenced yard for dog and fee for dog very reasonable. Town not walkable but location private. Cabin well furnished with misc items which a real plus. Would reccomend

This was our first time at the cabin. Our first impression was that we are thankful that we picked this cabin. It has everything anyone would need for a stay. Just bring your food. Its close to town for convenience if you forget anything. Our dogs enjoyed their freedom on the property. Totally fenced in. Since we got home, we still have said what a wonderful time we had. We hope to go again in the Summer.

My wife and I have gone up to stay in Idyllwild several times and we both agree this was our favorite cabin. It was so clean and tidy inside that I would have thought it was a new build. We also loved the massive yard with a gate so we could let our dog roam around and locate all the good sunny spots. The cabin is located smack dab in the middle of where I wanted to be. Less than 5 minute drive to Humber park with all the great trails and the same distance to town center. Communication with Barb and Jeff was simple and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had an outstanding weekend.

This was our third stay at the Little Cabin over the first weekend in December. It’s perfect for our needs. Fenced and pet friendly, and all the amenities we need. Located close to town and pleasant walks through the neighborhood and hiking trail. We look forward to next year.

Great little cabin with nice big property for our dog to go crazy chasing squirrels up trees! Apple trees were full of delicious apples at the time of our visit in October. Owners were so personable and readily available with answers and information. They also gave timely information for finding the cabin and checking in. We had a great time hiking nearby trails (used all trails app). We loved sitting outside on the porch and watching movies on Netflix. The skylights let the moonlight in during the night and the sunlight in by day. Great little cabin! Yes, little. But the kitchen has full sized appliances and everything we needed for preparing and cooking meals. We loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay in the little cabin. It was dog friendly, smelled clean upon arrival, and had all the amenities we needed. The property was fully fenced in, which is great if you bring your furry babies. The front gate did have a small gap underneath, and since we have little dogs that can squeeze through, we had to keep them on a leash.
