Stayed Dec 26, 2025We loved our stay. Everything was spotless, the heat AND fireplace worked perfectly (helpful hint: bring the firewood in to warm up), there were extra blankets, and even some snacks! We walked over to the river which was beautiful, but it was a pretty wintry weekend so we want to come back and stay in the cabin instead so we can eat by the water!

Stayed Sep 13, 2021Unfortunately, the property is not on the waterfront as we expected from the description. That was a big disappointment for us. Also, I’d suggest bringing some toiletries. We really enjoyed Hickory Run state park which is close by and the property was peaceful.

Stayed Mar 13, 2026This home and property were lovely and it was so great being on the water and within walking distance to beautiful falls. Our only negative feedback is that we were expecting a more private setting vs multiple homes being within eyesight from one another. The hosts were super communicative and accommodating!

Stayed Dec 20, 2025An absolutely amazing stay! The cottage was clean and provided us with the “home away from home” experience but in a tranquil setting without the hustle and bustle of our every day lives. Owners were very responsive and helped to make our getaway wonderful. Beautiful location.. scenic, peaceful, & relaxing. We enjoyed the fireplace, reconnecting with nature, sitting on the porch, and the overall accommodations. Looking forward to returning sometime soon.

Stayed Oct 3, 2025The cottage was very quaint and clean. Great location, with access to long, wooded trail which led to a beautiful river outlook. The waterfalls on the property were beautiful and easy to get to-we brought chairs down and sat for hours taking in the scenery and rushing water. Loved the spacious yard and fire pit. Even with a few other cabins nearby we felt it was still very private. Will book again!!

Stayed Sep 24, 2025This quaint cottage feels like it is way out in the country, but it is right off of Route 115 and not far from Route 940, making it easy to get wherever you want to go. We loved sitting on the covered porch in the evenings. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We would definitely return.

Stayed Nov 1, 2024We would have rated our stay 5/5 except for an unpleasant plumbing snafu that was eventually resolved much to our satisfaction YET the Host indicated the snafu was a repeat problem with The Cottage. We would check with the Hosts to make sure the problem is permanently resolved before we would book The Cottage again. Without the snafu, we’d have been thrilled. We were generously offered The Lodge to move to, which we did and were very happy there for the remainder of the stay. The Hosts made it well-worth the trouble of the relo. The Lodge has a screened-in back deck with a view of The Lehigh River which greatly makes up for the smaller space. The Hosts were very responsive and accommodating and generous and we would easily book with them again. The surrounding towns have plenty of services and the whole property itself is serene and beautiful.

Stayed Oct 3, 2024Our stay at the Lehigh Cottage was fantastic! It was a perfect place for our needed respite. We spent hours sitting on the porch or around the fire pit to watch the changing light and recharge. Dexter, our young dog, enjoyed his daily walks on the property with adventures to the waterfall and the river. We rarely left to do other planned hikes or adventures because the property captivated us.

Stayed Sep 22, 2024The property was pretty much as described, very rustic, there is a walk to the waterfall, which wasn’t bad but parts are a little steep so wear decent shoes. We didn’t have the best weather so we spent most of our stay inside. House was clean, could use a few little things like dish towels and pot holders! beds were comfortable, showers were fine. I would definitely suggest a screen door so you can get some nice air in, it was a little humid when we went and that would have made all the difference. You do need to drive a bit to get to any stores and stuff but this is as described and in the woods.

Stayed Aug 20, 2024We were pleasantly surprised with the cottage and all it had to offer from its location to the quaintness of the interior rooms. It had everything we needed to make it a perfect little get-away for four nights. We hiked at Hickory Run State Park one day and rode bikes along the Lehigh Gorge another day- both about one-half hour drive. Walking down the path to the waterfalls on the property was also a highlight. We loved sitting on the porch and having our morning coffee and watching the hummingbird. We plan on booking the cottage again real soon and are so happy we found this little gem within 2 hours from home.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our older dog, Daisy. Plenty of comforts and opportunity for open air, country rejuvenation. Lots pf local history dating back 200 years in this little village. In warm weather, bring your bathing suit and float for the falls and rapids in the river (its pretty tame). The side yard is large and flat, perfect if you bring a volleyball/badminton net or cornhole. The outdoor fire pit is great, bring a box of outdoor logs like we did and your good to go for a nice evening of fire. I suggest bringing some charcoal for the iron camp site grill off of the front porch. We brought some small pieces of non-pressure treated construction wood and some cardboard to get a nice cooking fire going for a dinner of cheeseburgers and hot dogs. Inside, everything that you need is there. The Keurig was appreciated, and also the microwave. We brought paper plates, napkins, and solo cups which we used. The two window air conditioners brought a lot of relief to otherwise 90+ days outside. Finally, remember your bug spray! You are near a river and in the woods! Enjoy!!! We will return. Thanks hosts!
