Welcome to Duck Creek Village at 8500 ft!
In winter, our cabins offer a serene escape, but preparation is key for a safe journey. Here's what you need to know:
Before you set off:
1. Get real-time road conditions and weather updates with Utah's UDot app and Wunderground's website (zip code 84762).
2. Plan your travel wisely and avoid winter storms.
Once snow arrives:
• Highway 14 may have snow, and our gravel roads will be snowy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required, with chains recommended.
• Snow removal is prioritized, but please keep in mind that we contract with snowplow companies who only plow after 6” or more of snow for driveways, and they will prioritize guests who check in or check out first, followed by groups who are mid stay.
• Power outages are rare, but if they occur, contact management and we will provide an update on the situation promptly.
Keep in mind:
• Nighttime arrivals may find limited services, so plan accordingly.
• While we're a small village, we're here to ensure your winter adventure is memorable and safe.
For a stress-free getaway, call us ahead to tailor your trip to perfection!

The location was great and extremely convenient to Bryce and Zion. We also explored all of the amazing locations that are less known but just as amazing, and are much closer to Duck Creek-Cedar Breaks, Strawberry Point. Spent a great day in Cedar City as well. As for the house, it was clean, well appointed for cooking meals-which we did all week. Plenty of room for double the amount of people we had. The first night, the smoke alarms went off all night-which sucked-but they sent maintenance the next morning to remove the faulty smoke head. Also, we did not feel comfortable using the fireplace or fire pit because there were many rules around cleanliness and type of wood you could use. The hot tub-and I think they should clarify this in the description- is not located in a great location on the property. It actually sits on the front of the property, facing and close to the road. Also no easy access from the house-requires walking from the main house, down a flight of stairs and across the driveway. Would’ve been great following days of hiking Bryce and Zion, but the location and the fact that the construction crew across the street worked late into the evening-and we didn’t want to hot tub in front of them-made the prospect of using the hot tub unwelcoming. We did play a good amount of pool in the game room which was fun! We met some great locals in the Duck Creek Village-including Krazy Mike who served awesome sandwiches and had stellar advice on sites to visit.

We had a great time staying at the Knotty Pine Cabin. The furnishings were really nice and it had everything we needed and more. The cabin was super clean and we really appreciated that. We had just checked out of another cabin in Duck Creek Village that was extremely dirty when we arrived so it was refreshing to check into something that was so well taken care of. On our list for a return visit.

This property was perfect for our family. Our daughter graduated HS last month and we took her on a two week trip thru Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and more; ending with a few days of rest in Duck Creek before returning home. This property is great for families with adult children (18-25) who need their own space. Our daughter was pleased to have the basement apartment, where she had her own space to relax and chill. If her older brother would have been with us he would have kicked her to the main level bedroom where she still would have had her own bathroom. The house was clean, welcoming, and we loved the decor. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. We love the quietness of Duck Creek. This is our second year in Duck Creek and look forward to next year’s visit.

WOW! Loved the house!! The location is fantastic and it was crazy to still have snow around in April. But, you are over 9000 ft so that's expected. Most of the local restaurants weren't open but the house had a kitchen that was ready to cook. Just bring food with you. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. Our only regret was not being able to spend more time in the house while there!!!!!

We couldn’t possibly rate the overall experience any higher! The property was exactly as listed and the house was beautiful inside and out accommodating our family of four perfectly with separate rooms for the “older” kids and parents. The property managers were very accommodating and great to deal with easily allowing us to book an extra night last minute. The location was perfectly nestled between Bryce Canyon and Zion and the Duck Creek Village community was adorable. Although we had full days planned exploring the surrounding areas, we were able to enjoy the many amenities as well, with plenty of entertainment available at the house - board games, cards, puzzles, hot tub, pool table, chess - we were able to take advantage of most of it and often commented that if the weather wasn’t cooperative, we would be perfectly content hanging out at the house!!! 100 out of 10 in our book!!!

We loved everything about the cabin. It was perfect for our family of 7. Each couple had their own floor with bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of room for us! Had so much fun relaxing and also playing outside in the snow.

My wife and I planned a trip to celebrate our birthdays and were looking for something convenient to the national parks and also peaceful when not making visits. This was the perfect spot to reach Zion, Bryce, North Rim Grand Canyon, Cedar Breaks and more. The property was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and maintained. We would definitely consider returning with our family and would recommend to others.

Our group was very impressed with this cabin. It was very cute, very, VERY clean, and very well thought out. We had 6 friends stay together and an infant, and the beds and bathrooms were extremely well stocked. The beds were soft, extra blankets, linens, and pillows were readily available, and cozy blankets for when you want to relax on the spacious deck. The campfire site with chairs was super fun, with plenty of logs ready for a fire. The hot tub was well taken care of, though it was in a somewhat odd spot off the garage, it just wasn't easy to get to in bare feet, but the robes and pool towels were a nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked, and had plenty of dishes, spices and seasonings, coffee maker, pots and pans, and more. We found just about everything we were looking for! The grill worked great. The game collection, pool table option, and the cozy den (with comfy pull out sofa!) were all really nice to have. Even the DVD collection and small library were great options, on top of the tvs in each room and great wifi thay kept up with our group. We were traveling with an infant and asked for a pack n play, which wasn't originally listed, but the owners so thoughtfully had one ready for us when we got there! Overall, we had a really relaxing, fun time here, and really enjoyed the thoughtful things that went into this cabin: would definitely stay again!
