The Highlander -OH THE VIEWS!

The best view in the Smokey Mountains! I'm from east Tennessee and have seen a lot of views! If you want a majestic place that is peaceful and beautiful and will bring tears to your eyes, this is the place to stay! The sunrise here was immaculate, and we will definitely be back.All was in order, clean, and quiet. Private porch/hot tub, great for a true get away. Lots of what you need in the kitchen, bring your own coffee and toiletries! Minutes to Dollywood.

Property was nice - just a bit smaller than we're used to, but they had everything we needed.

We had an excellent stay at this cabin in Wears Valley. The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The mountain views were outstanding, and the location was perfect—peaceful and private while still being close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and all the local attractions.The cabin was comfortable, and had plenty of room for our group. Check-in and check-out was simple, and the host was responsive and easy to work with throughout our stay.We would stay here again and recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing Smoky Mountain getaway.

Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is replacing sofa and loveseat with something more comfortable. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely stay again. Thanks

We had a fabulous time (again) at the Highlander cabin. The views are fantastic, house is cozy...a home away from home. Convenient location to all of the attractions, shopping and restaurants and also just far enough off the parkway to feel like your in your own quiet haven. Our host Valerie is awesome, excellent communication and super accommodating!!

Highlander cabin was just as described. The view was beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

This place was great for our family of 4, including a four and seven year old. The beds were super comfortable. The view was stunnning! Very cute cabin! We would stay there again!

The cabin was perfect for me, my wife and adult daughter. Great views, warm fireplace, comfortable furniture. Nice view from the game room and from the hot tub.

Outstanding view of Mt Leconte from the hot tub. Conveniently located at the south end of pigeon forge. And can use the bypass to avoid Gatlinburg traffic when heading to the mountains. Very clean and comfortable. I will say the pool table is too big for that room.

Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for four family members. Beautiful views. Owner is very quick to respond. Loved it!

Gorgeous views. Sewage trap may need maintenance as pipes gurgled when used.

The cabin was great One big standout, other than the views, was the mattress upstairs was great. Everything we needed was there for us. Also, a great sound system with the main TV. One thing that we didn't like was the door lock. I had trouble with it every time I used it. It's not user friendly. Will choose this one again.

Beautiful view

Are time was excellent. I would have preferred the shower that was upstairs to have been downstairs for our daughter. The place did work out for her with her disability.

Very nice cabin with beautiful views! I was happy to find a cabin with two king bedrooms, We were traveling with friends and it was nice to each have a king bed. Be sure and bring whatever food items you need, it's a little far out. We forgot to bring coffee, but fortunately someone had left a can from their visit and we were saved! We would most certainly stay here again. Our one regret was that we didn't another day to just stay and relax in this wonderful place!

Wonderful cabin enjoyed the sunset and how clean property was didn’t enjoyed the car show and loudness of the cars but that had nothing to do with cabin it was wonderful. Will be calling to stay on property again in the futures

No flat parking area.

We have stayed at the Highlander twice now and I would highly recommend it! Amazing views, clean cabin with excellent furnishing, new patio furniture and very comfortable beds. The owner was also very accommodating when I had to change our dates.

Our stay at the Highlander was wonderful. The view from the cabin is awesome. The cabin was lovely and provided everything we needed. Valerie quickly responded to us when we contacted her. We were easily able to extend our stay another day. We hope to go back sometime.

The property is very clean and comfortable. The views are spectacular and the neighborhood is great. It's a very convenient location to Pigeon Forge attractions and to the national park.

The cabin was perfect for 2 couples as there was 2 king beds. The views were spectacular. Definitely worth it!

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay! This cabin had everything we needed for our family of 5. Kitchen had all the utensils and pots/pans we needed in addition to seasoning and cooking oils. The cabin itself is gorgeous and squeaky clean. To our surprise, it was decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations which really topped off the magical vibe. It's easy to tell this place is well cared for and loved by the owner. The view from the back porch is amazing! We were lucky enough to see snowfall while we were there. The kids were thrilled to watch snow flow over the mountain tops all the way to our back porch. Such a unique experience to say the least. We especially loved how easy it was to enjoy the fire place by simply turning on a timer. We would love to stay here again for our next trip to Gatlinburg!

Cabin was nicely decorated and fully stocked with anything you would need. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Driveway was a little steep but managable. We had a great time and even got to see some snow!

The Highlander is a very nice cabin in our favorite Sherwood Forrest Resort. Having stayed in over 14 cabins in the Smokies, this is a good value for a vacation rental. Squeaky clean, well stocked with everything you need, comfy beds, and a short commute to the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Yes, you need to put your parking break on for the steep driveway but it’s worth it. This is a cabin we would return to.

Beautiful cabin. Clean and stocked with enough essentials to get you set up. Neighborhood is on very steep incline up the mountain, but it’s manageable and worth the view. Had a great time!

Our second time staying in this cabin! Awesome location and great views! We hope to be back again!
