Stayed Sep 30, 2025It was okay but not great.Bathroom door handle came off the first night we were there - my hubby fixed it. Toilet seat not on well amd couldnt be screwed on tighter. Shower was slippy with the non slip butterflies wore off. Hot tub smelled funny so we didnt use it (i have a hot tub at home and it didnt smell like a hot tub). They also failed to mention you were right by the barn that held the weddings - so many cars and alot of noise. No view of anything. Cabin needs a deep clean - the corners in the bathroom were caked with grime. Not a terrible place but if we ever visit the area again we wont be staying there

Stayed Sep 22, 2025Clean and cozy cabin with the most comfortable bed. Hot tub got nice and hot. We felt welcomed and were given privacy. It was a working horse ranch so it was fun to go anytime and pet the horses. Beautiful trails for hiking

Stayed Sep 14, 2025The cabin was very nice. We wanted a nice quiet place to stay. Jeff was a great host, check in was a breeze. We highly recommend staying at their place. Townsend is a nice little town to stay in. For a great meal, head to The Abbey in Townsend. It was only 5 mins away.

Stayed Aug 3, 2025We sat outside for breakfast, watch the horses get ready to take children on a trip. Day outside again in tickets with wine later. In the middle we were minutes away from GSNP and the Cases Cove area. Can't be beat. Would 100% be happy to return.

Stayed Jun 3, 2025The Hideout Cabin is a charming and cozy cabin. The cabin has a sweet front porch where we sipped our morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The hot tub was perfect after long days of hiking. The location is perfect, with Townsend attractions and Smoky Mountain access. The property is spectacular, with stables and fantastic views. Jeff is a wonderful and attentive host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the walks and visiting the horses right on the property. We used the fire pit a couple of times for a sunset fire.I highly recommend this property, it was lovely.
