The Hawk Nest Log Cabin was hand-built from cedar trees located on the property. The cabin is small, but cozy and comfortable. It's perfect for 2 or 3 guests, but it can accommodate up to 4 people. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are located upstairs. If you have a problem with stairs, the cabin might not be right for you, as the stairs are steep. (Ladder-style stairs). Stayed Jun 19, 2025We had a great time! Super clean, quiet, and very private. We could pull our boat to the dock and relax on the dock or up in the yard. Loved the old look and small appliances in the cabin. Reminded me of when I was younger. We have been here two times now. Love it!

Stayed Nov 9, 2024This is a clean, comfortable and well-appointed cabin and a well-maintained property. It was perfectly simple and had everything we needed…even a flashlight, which we forgot. Stayed Oct 11, 2024The location of the cabin was beautiful/cabin was as seen on line; however it was not smoke free as advertised on line. The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke so badly that i could not shower. I did contact the owner, and he was baffled about how we could be smelling cigarette smoke. He did offer to refund our money, but we refused the refund..A refund does not make all ok. We have used VRBO for several years,and this is the first time we have had any problem. shower

Stayed Jul 20, 2024Description is very accurate. If you’ve got small kids the stairs are steep. Fishing dock was great for my boys.
