This home was a great fit for our group. It was spacious and was a short commute to town and big bear ski resort. We arrived with three trucks drive way is pretty tight but we made it work. It was a cozy weekend getaway for us and would stay here again

I booked this trip for my family as we had one of our kids turn 13 recently and his birthday wish was to go play in the snow. It had been awhile since we had all taken a trip together,so we decided to make it a weekend. We were very happy with the cabin and rental process and it was almost too hard to leave it!

I'd rate it a B. Kitchen stove has problems. Dishwasher was holding stagnant water. BBQ grill outside hadn't been cleaned in years. One of the blankets was gross with snot. Water pressure in kitchen was very low, but maybe this was a city requirement. Everything else was great.

I booked this cabin for my boyfriends family reunion. His family lives in S Africa and so it was small, just 7 of us total. It had everything we needed in terms of space and in the kitchen. The master bed was so cute, esp the bathroom. When we arrived, the fireplace was in to warm the house, though it quickly got unbearably hot and the remote to shut it off was broken. But I called the maintenance line and they told me how to do it manually. Then we wanted to have dinner and realized there were only 4 chairs, which was unfortunate as the photo showed 6. We ended up having to use the bar stools which were much too high for the other 3 people. Later that night we went in the hot tub, which was also running for us so it was at a great temperature when it got dark and we were ready for it. However, when we actually wanted to use it the fuse kept tripping 1 sec after turning the jets on, which made it so the water was warm, but the lights and motor didn't work. Not as great. Also, that never fixed the whole weekend. We called maintenance the next day, as they were closed at night, and they said it would need a part and they never came back to replace it. So that was a bummer. As truly, one of the things in our search criteria was a hot tub, it was a huge deal to us not to have one. But we did get to bring our dog. Which was so great. I'd say the highlights of the house was the kitchen and the living room. The living area was so cozy and just enough room for us. I think this cabin is better for a smaller group or if you have kids. As my boyfriend and I stayed in the room with the bunk beds, and even with the full bed on the bottom, it is not recommended for adults. Also, not comfortable.

The professional stove, outdoor grill and hot tub were great. The master bedroom was huge. We had to make sure that the bedroom door was locked when using the shower, as there is no door. The home has 2 full baths and a half bath. The place was a little small for a family of 10 and not much of a backyard for small children to play. The place could really use some fans, as it was very hot at night even with the windows open. The room with the two daybeds and trundles did not have a light switch that controlled the overhead light. I had to move one of the lamps from the master to plug in to that room. The deck upstairs was small and the outdoor furniture was dirty and we did not use it very much. The hardest thing was taking the garbage to the dump daily. We still enjoyed our time there. Nothing was that far away and it was not crowded when we went bike riding or the water slides. My deposit was returned right away which was impressive.

My family and I stayed here this summer the cabin is very clean , I loved the kitchen and there was plenty of room for sleeping... Cons: the tile was cracked in the kitchen , there was ants so we couldn't leave anything out, and a lot of the light bulbs were burned out..All of these things can be easily fixed though and it they didn't ruin our vacation. Overall this was a great place
