Stayed Jul 3, 2024I was not made aware that the creek was closed due to drought. I was not made aware that there was a fee to fish in that creek even before it was declared closed due to drought. The trout farm was also closed which i was not made aware of. I would not have added a day to my reservation had I known this. The cabin could use a bigger fridge and softer mattresses but otherwise good. Someone should have made us aware of the stream closure before i added a night but they didnt.

Stayed May 31, 2024I am usually apprehensive about property pictures. The pictures always outdo the actual property. This was different in that the place was better than the pictures! Very happy with my stay!!

Stayed May 10, 2023Gorgeous location on a stream, beautiful cabin, better than the web could show. We talk enjoyed our stay and loved this great cabin. The fire ring was great, the stream sound relaxing. You could make out a few other cabins through the tree cover, but it felt private. The mountain views off property are stunning.

Stayed Jun 12, 2021We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was stocked w/more items than we where expecting. Close to state parks & other areas we where planning on visiting. This was our 40th wedding anniversary get away!

Stayed May 22, 2021The cabin was very clean with most of the essentials that you may need at the cabin. Everything in good order and working condition. Peaceful location and somewhat secluded right by the creek so it was a great place for our 2 German Shepherds. Property all around very clean and taking care off, great place to stay.

Stayed Apr 7, 2021We had such a great time! We stayed here while visiting Virginia Tech which was about 40 minutes away. The cabin had everything we needed and it was worth the extra drive. The stream behind the house was beautiful and the kids enjoyed fishing in it. Would love to come back some time.

Stayed Apr 2, 2021Our stay was absolutely perfect! The cabin was extremely well furnished with everything we needed for a long weekend stay with our four children. And while we lived the inside of the cabin including fun bunks and super comfy bed and chairs, the outside was just as wonderful! We enjoyed the expansive lawn area, amazing g view of the creek, walks around the property and relaxing around the fire pit. We didn’t want to leave, and the kids already asking to return!
