The Cozy Den

This was a great cabin for our visit. It was very clean.

The cabin is cute, quite & inviting.(did have a jumping spider in bathroom upon arrival.) Connect to the Wi-Fi and the welcoming me book in cabin for the local convenience. Even tho you feel like in the middle of nowhere you Are in the Middle of Everywhere.

The host was super thoughtful! There were so many little amenities in the kitchen and bathroom that we weren't expecting. The cabin was super clean, and the linens and bed were very comfortable. We felt very welcome and would love to come back again soon!

Cool little place

It was very nice and clean! Lots of extra towels, just about everything you need in the kitchen, (a grill outside). And no “honey do list” for checking out! Nice neighbors too!

Clean and unique. The wifi wasn't strong at all. And that was no big deal. Kind of nice being disconnected. We loved it!

Our stay was very peaceful and comfortable which is what we were looking for

Better hot water system

The cabin was quite cozy. We don’t bring pets and didn’t notice any pet odors or pet hair anywhere on the property, so that’s a big plus for owner care. The taxidermed deer and fish were a real nice homey touch, as our family fishes and hunts. A couple more strategically placed lamps might improved the lighting significantly. We enjoyed our stay and wish we had been able to stay longer. You have a very nice property.

Emphasis on cozy, was able to let the stress melt away and enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere and amenities. I would highly recommend the Cozy Den to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway and quiet of nature.

Very nice, Clean, very well stocked (even found a band-aid). Cozy is a good description. Good shower. Don't know about 4 ppl , 2 adults and couple small kids yes. Overall good experience. Fire pit was great on a cold breezy night

We spent a week at the Cozy Den, and it was perfect! It was clean, cozy and far exceeded our expectations. The host's really thought of everything. Even our fur babies enjoyed the large property and all the new smells! We spent our days exploring the Daniel Boone National Forest and snuggled up in the Cozy Den to rest and relax for the next days adventure!

Great place

We checked in later than expected and were very pleased that the Cozy Den was everything we expected. After long days of hiking it was the perfect retreat for a shower, dinner, movie, and general relaxing and recovery for another day of exploring.

The cabin itself was very cozy, and the area is beautiful. The cabin cookware was dirty, unclean from past guests. Our biggest complaint would have to be the defunct wifi, the wifi did not work 90% of the time, and when it did work it was extremely slow. Neither my wife or me had cell service in this location, so we were reliant on the wifi for our stay.

Well appointed, clean, nicely decorated and amenities, was just surprised it was so close to the road and so far from restaurants and activities.

I scheduled myself for a weekend alone to do some personal work and absolutely loved the cozy den. It was just perfect in every way. So clean and comforting and the host was fabulous to get back in touch with me if I had a question. Very happy in going there!

Adorable cabin. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed morning coffee on front porch. Super clean. Had everything u needed. Hostess and her husband were super nice. We had an issue with our boat and they were right there to give us assistance. I broke my flip flop and Jaycee was at the door with a spare pair of flip flops! Now who does that? We had an amazing stay at the cozy cabin. We came to Cave Run Lake to do some fishing and very much enjoyed ourselves. The cabin is so welcoming and we loved the country decor. My favorite thing was relaxing on the front porch swing while drinking coffee.The bed was very comfy with plenty of pillows. We loved how many amenities they stocked! There were more than enough towels and extra blankets for cold nights. Also, we loved the coffee maker and that she stocked the kitchen with plenty of pods and creamer.If you forgot something, there is a Dollar General right down the road for food and whatever else you need.I loved that there was a large area for my dog to run in the back. Water pressure is phenominal. There was a very nice fire pit but we couldn't use it due to the rain. It looked really nice and I hope to use it next time we visit.

We wanted a single night get away after our wedding at Sunset Ridge nearby, and this cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Small, affordable, private, and spotless. The entire process from beginning to end was great, and the host was a good communicator. 2 reasons it didn't get a 5-star... The tv remote was missing so we couldn't use the tv at all. And the Keurig pot did not work. The host was quick to remedy these issues; however we were only there for 1 night and left first thing the next morning as the lack of coffee was frustrating. Would still recommend, as this was a great looking cabin for a couple!

The cabin was very cozy and was exactly as advertised. Loved the porch swing and fire pit!

Pretty convenient to everything but still far enough away to feel like you’re getting away. It does sit near the road and some trucks are loud when passing, but not bad. We could have used an AC during the day, but there wasn’t one. I presume they use a window unit once it heats up more. The heater was nice at night. Overall, great price, nice cabin, and very communicative hosts.

Our stay was supposed to be a couples trip but we had to take the kids due to no babysitter. The host made sure we had everything we needed. They were extremely nice to us and our children. It's greatly appreciated ❤️ I definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away. It was so nice and peaceful!

The address was incorrect but the pictures from the site were a huge help in finding it. The host did contact me and mentioned the address wasn't accurate and he sent me the correct address We had already found it by that time. I love the area and the peaceful countryside.

Due only to problems Hurricane Helene caused we only spent one night of our 2 night stay. The electric was out when we arrived and remained out during our stay and may still be out as I write this. We did get up early the next morning and returned home.The cabin is extraordinary, decorated with the care and love that the host wants you to feel. We missed a magical part of our trip due to the weather but the host couldn't have been nicer and we look forward to staying there in the future.
