The cabin was exactly like advertised. Great location with many things to do and great places to dine.

Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations! The cabin photos are great - it is even better in person Pleasantly surprised to find privacy in wooded location and a charming grassy knoll (room to play frisbee with our border collie) with babbling stream in a local that we found convenient to great restaurants, charming mountain towns and National park. Comfy bed, idyllic fireplace- So clean we kept thinking the cabin was brand new. Owner was SUPERcalifragilisticexpialidocious responsive and informative. The guest book signed by many on their 2nd or 3rd visits back says it all!!

The cabin was beautiful in ways that the photos do not do justice to. While being cozy, it never felt too small, and had everything we needed for a restful and refreshing mountain weekend. We loved the relative seclusion while being close to town for groceries and all the options for hiking nearby, and the host included some thoughtful touches. The huge front porch got a ton of use from us, and since it was early spring, we got the bonus of a Mountain View through the trees.

The cabin was absolutely ideal! It was spotless, well-equipped, and communication with the host was excellent. Our favorite part was the peaceful location, along with the beautiful mountain views and night sky.

The cabin is equipped with pots/pans and dinnerware. Loved cooking on the gas stove. Beds are comfortable and fireplace is beautiful. Cabin is definitely in the woods but close to town.

Great fireplace and very comfortable cabin to hang out in. Loved exploring the grounds and just hanging out by the fire.

We appreciated the rustic cabin experience, and having the firewood on site with the splitter for kindling was super convenient. The porch provides a nice view of the woods and feels really secluded and peaceful. Kitchen was well equipped, and the electric heat kept the cabin very comfortable overnight when it was cold out.

Very nice set up feels like no one else is around loved the privacy. Definitely recommend this cabin.

Met our expectations. Great place to stay with an isolated back to nature feel - but only 2-3 miles from necessities and in easy range of the attractions of the Smokies.

Cabin was as advertised. Awesome host! Well stocked.We were able to go to Smoky Mountain National Park 3 days. The Biltmore, and we saw numerous waterfalls.

We had a great stay, Bill was awesome to work with, great guy! the pictures online do not do this cabin justice- it’s à beautiful rustic cabin nested in the mountains - had everything we needed. Loved the peacefulness/ sound of the running creek nearby and we even seen a Momma bear and her 3 baby cubs!! We will definitely stay here again in our future travels! Wonderful, beautiful cabin! Check in and out a breeze. Loved the private location and the wood burning stone fireplace! Very peaceful and relaxing. The host Bill, was exceptional and made my stay with my doggie just perfect! Thank you so very much Bill!

The Cabin On Eagles Nest exceeded our expectations in every way. Great charm, comfortable and perfectly appointed - just wonderful. Everything you need. The best part - it looks like a cabin, feels like a cabin and has that special cabin aroma when you come through the door. Took me back to fond memories of childhood and my grandmother’s cabin in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. We cannot recommend it highly enough! And nearby WAYNESVILLE has so much to offer. Great shops, restaurants and things to do. So go and experience the cabin’s magic for yourself. You will be glad you did.

The cabin was excellent. The location is really close to town although it felt like we we miles from anyone. We all agreed that this would be a great place to get snowed in. We are already looking forward to a return visit.

The cabin was great with everything that we needed. It was also in a great location. Close to great restaurants and downtown Waynesville. The only compliant is the beds in the upstairs loft. Both mattresses were very firm and one bed was very noisy and would make noise when rolling over.

My family and I were thrilled with the cabin! It was just as described and very clean. The area around Waynesville was really cool, with some good restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend Doughboys, and the Beach Mountain Cafe. I would not recommend Sauced or the Main Street Cafe. The cabin has a rustic feel, but all the modern amenities you need. Felt very secure with the alarm system and the surrounding area. Thank you to the owners for a great experience!!!

Enjoyed an early summer stay. Tree line keeps the area nice and cool. It was easy to unwind by the camp fire, with the gifted bottle of wine from our host. The manual has detailed instructions for everything. Thank you so much for an incredible weekend at the nest; looking forward to next time.

Spacious cabin was clean and we had a wonderful stay. An update or two would make it perfect.

I was here for a quick weekend trip for my nephew’s graduation and had a great stay! The cabin had everything that I needed & Bill was a great host. The cabin was in a convenient location - close to restaurants and shopping. I enjoyed sitting on the large porch and listening to the creek - it was very peaceful & relaxing - I would love to come back when I can stay longer and enjoy more around Waynesvile.

The cabin was great, and the location was perfect for what we wanted. It's up enough into the mountains to feel remote, while also being less than 10 minutes from downtown to enjoy shopping and dining. Bill was very responsive any time we had questions and the cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay!

Stayed here several times over 20 years. Always ready, complete and clean. Owner updates and adds on a regular basis. Very helpful with suggesting restaurants, sights, etc. Look forward to another 20 years!!!!

This is a great little cabin in a beautiful neighborhood with the perfect location to everything we wanted to do.

It was the perfect place to unplug and rest. The cabin was situated in an area that made it seem secluded but was only 10 minutes from downtown. We really enjoyed our stay.

My mom and I decided to spend a weekend in the mountains while she was visiting. The cabin was exactly as advertised and we had a great stay. The check in and out process was simple and the owner was very easy to get ahold of. I would definitely recommend this cabin to those wanting to stay in the area.

A great stay on the mountain. Only a few minutes from Main st. A true cabin with loft, a balcony to enjoy the scenery, and the sound of water from a nearby stream. We’ll be back!
