Horses all around property! Very private. Quiet location. Owner was a fabulous hostess!!!! She spoiled us with many extras!!!! Wish we could have stayed longer!!!!! Hope to return some day!!

Our hostess was amazing, the views were gorgeous and it felt secluded- perfect for our honeymoon get away. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We can't wait to come back!

The peaceful, pine-surrounded setting felt serene and private, yet it's conveniently close to Woodland Park and nearby attractions. I loved every minute and highly recommend this charming, well-maintained escape to anyone seeking relaxation in the Rockies. I'd happily return!

We booked this for a quiet getaway for my Dad after some difficult times. The host was incredibly hospitable and made him feel so comfortable and cared for. The location is beautiful and serene and lots of love is put into it. He absolutely enjoyed his stay.

Ms. Kathleen was a gracious host and showed us all the great trails! The Bunkhouse is lovely and we had no trouble with the amenities. Loved waking up and making coffee with Keurig. The red rocks we went to on 2 separate days because there is just so much exploration to be had there! The view of Pike’s Peak is just immaculate, and the best part is you always know where you are. Very difficult to get lost if you follow the fence line and power line, so if you have anxiety (like me) rest assured that you can always find your way back! This property is a slice of heaven!

Really cozy getaway! The hosts ensure you lack for nothing! The kitchen is large and well stocked. Plenty of put your feet up and relax room. For those who want a retreat, there's games, books and movies. For a home base, you're not far from some of the best adventures Colorado has to offer. My wife and i enjoyed sitting on the porch, watching the wildlife and listening to the breeze flow through the pines. Will definitely recommend!

The cabin was very cozy andmet all our needs/wants.

It was a cozy cabin attached to a barn on a horse ranch. the cabin itself was comfortable with everything you'd need, including cooking, baking supplies, and a few of the essentials in the fridge, the only thing that it didn't have was a laundry machine and drier. Kathleen was very nice and helpful and the cabin itself was clean and easy to find with the directions she gave.

It was a great and peaceful place to stay. We would definitely rebook if we make it back into town!

The Bunkhouse location was convenient to our activities in the area. Kathleen was a very personable host with helpful information. We enjoyed the feeling of remoteness while still being close to activities.

Cute, cozy, clean. The cabin is stocked with spices, a tea and coffee bar and the refrigerator has a variety of condiments and salad dressings. The covered front porch is a great place to sit and enjoy the forest. We have already made reservations to go back!

We loved the bunkhouse. The location is excellent - plenty of things to do round and about the area but very peaceful. We spent happy hours relaxing and watching the garden, complete with deer visitors. It's very well equipped and we enjoyed using the grill and kitchen. Lovely hosts - good advice and suggestions for things to do and very friendly. Pretty much the perfect stay!

Kathleen offered us the best stay we could’ve asked for! She’s the sweetest and truly demonstrates how she cares for her guests. We weren’t too familiar with the area but she offered us plenty of things to do around Woodland Park and how to get to those places. The property was clean and well taken care of, with no issues during our stay. If you’re planning on taking a vacation or just a quick getaway I recommend the bunkhouse. You won’t be disappointed!

Clean well maintained property and perfect location for an easy getaway. You can enjoy a beautiful hike steps from property. And stores/restaurants are very close too if you don’t want to cook. Kathleen is a wonderfully kind and hospitable host! Love to come back sometime.

If you're looking for a small cabin that has everything you need, this is it. The cabin location is set back off of a major highway. It's close to town, but far enough out to provide a quiet and relaxing location. The cabin was clean and the kitchen provided everything we needed. We were lucky enough to enjoy having a doe and 3 bucks walk within 20 feet of the front door. Kathleen, the host, was wonderful. We will be back.

We can’t overstate the amount of appreciation we have for these Kathleen! We came in on a snowy cold night and she sat at the turn off to help lead us up to the bunkhouse! We were greeted by banana bread and the most welcoming personality! This is our favorite stay we’ve ever had! We can’t say enough about the hospitality and just general kindness we experienced! The place was awesome and the property is even cooler! We got to see some deer walk by maybe 20-30 yards from the bunkhouse with us standing outside on our last evening there and it just capped a great weekend! We will be back in the future!

My husband and I just returned from our 4 night stay at the Bunkhouse (10/24 - 10/28/24). First of all, the property is stunning. You are WAY up in the mountains, in a beautiful pine forest, away from it all, yet close enough to town if you need or want to go. The bunkhouse was fully outfitted with just about everything you would ever need. It was so homey and comfortable. Kathleen, the Host, was incredible. What a great person!! She gave us perfect recommendations on things to do and see plus she was always available and truly wanting her guests to have a great time. Honestly, our stay there was a perfect 10 and we can't wait to return.

We can’t say enough about this place. Kathleen is so sweet and is great to communicate with. The Luv you bunkhouse is just a perfect location. It is comfortable and has everything you need. It’s a plus to be able to feed the horses Magic, Diva and Twister. Kathleen brought us a cake for our Anniversary and there was a welcome note on the chalkboard. You can’t get that at a hotel. The grounds are beautiful and Woodland Park is a great location.

Loved this little cabin, surrounded by ponderosa pine trees! Beautiful deers hanging around, resting mere feet from the front porch. Cabin had all the amenities.

This is definitely one of the best places we have stayed in. love the quite & peacefulness of it. Kathleen takes care of everything. This was our 2nd time being there & would go back again.

I wish I had more time at this VRBO. The place had everyting we needed and more. It was clean and nicely decorated. I would have liked a couple of days just to sit on the front porch with a good book. Take in a daily hike from the backyard to the Red Rocks. Watch the beautiful horses.We were looking for a quiest place in the mountains and we certainly found one.
