The Blue Canoe: Waterfront Cabin 6 Bedrooms / 6.5 Baths Sleeps 22

The Blue Canoe was an amazing experience. Amanda our host was very accessible and communicated back with me promptly. There are plenty of fish in the lake. We caught lots of perch and a few crappie. We did see some bass but did not catch one. You can catch plenty of fish right off the back porch. Those perch will eat anything but are tricky so use small hooks. We were allowed to bring a water trampoline and had a wonderful time. Seems the neighbors liked it too. Kayak's were out there and in good shape. We also used our own paddle boards. Loved this place and look forward to another stay here in the future. Robert

This was a great property. The best part was you can fish right off the back porch and have a view of the entire pond to watch the kids on the kayaks. The pond was much bigger than the pictures made it seem. We had a party of 20 and it fit us very well. We caught perch and bass while there. They provided tons of lifejackets and extra stuff throughout the house. There are 3 single person kayaks, one multi person canoe, one paddle boat, and two inflatable paddle boards provided. They also provided a baby gate which we appreciated because we had a toddler with us. The kids room was decorated with pirate themed stuffed animals and decor. There were barely any negatives, but here they are: The picnic table was broken, but there was plenty of space that we didnt need to use it. The hot tub looked like the water had been changed, but it didnt smell like chlorine or chemicals, just regular water. Im sure it was clean but its always nice to smell those chemicals when staying in a rental. The arcade machine upstairs was broken (screen going in and out). The grill was also out of propane and we switched it out. None of these things bothered us but just things to note. Overall, it was well maintained and fully furnished. I would stay again and I recommend this property to people with littles. Our group had 10 kids ages 1-17.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Canoe Cabin in Broken Bow AGAIN, and it is, without a doubt, our favorite cabin experience to date! Having stayed in several cabins throughout the area, I can confidently say this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. This was our second time staying there.From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Communication with the host, Amanda, was top-notch—she was responsive, helpful, and ensured we had everything we needed before we even arrived. The check-in and check-out processes were completely seamless, which allowed us to jump straight into relaxation mode the moment we pulled up.As for the cabin itself, it was immaculate. You can tell that Amanda takes great pride in her property; it was incredibly clean and maintained in excellent shape. Everything felt fresh, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. There is also a spare half bathroom downstairs. The bunkroom was the perfect spot for our teenage grandsons. They had a great time bonding with each other. The little ones really liked catching the perch and releasing them. The paddle boards were also a big hit. We also enjoy going to the “Swim Beach Playground” on Broken Bow Lake while we are there.If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Broken Bow, look no further than The Blue Canoe. We cannot wait to book our next trip back to this awesome cabin!

The house was clean inside and the kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals. We have a large group and the house had plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice clean rooms , everything we needed was there,property needed some dusting OUTSIDE BACK PORCH AREA. BUT that can be corrected easily i would stay there again.

Had a great time at the blue canoe, was more than enough space for 12 adults, 6 children with room to spare.

We had a group of 11 and this cabin was spacious and comfortable! It was great having our own little pond on property. The kids were able to catch (and release) some fish, find frogs, and check out some other fun critters! This is a great spot for the whole family!

The plan was to spend my 55th birthday with friends and family at The Blue Canoe; however, mother Nature had plans of her own and turned a fun-filled weekend from a party of 12 into a party of 4. If it weren’t for the beauty and elegance of the cabin—far exceeding my expectations—the weekend might have been ruined.We were fortunate enough to enjoy two seasons during our three-night stay. The first half brought beautiful sunny weather and wildlife sightings of geese and deer. During the second half, we soaked in the hot tub as snow fell across the frozen pond—an absolutely magical experience. If you’re a morning person, you’ll love watching the sunrise while sipping coffee or cocoa on the back porch.The only thing I enjoyed more than the coziness of the cabin and the scenery was the above-and-beyond hospitality of our host. Amanda made us feel completely at home and truly welcome. She was always quick to respond to any questions and even offered to let us stay an extra night if we couldn’t get out due to the inclement weather. She treated us more like family than renters.If you’re looking for a cozy and quiet getaway, The Blue Canoe is the place for you. It is worth every penny. My friends and I are already planning another trip for early summer.

We had a fantastic stay at this vacation rental! Our kids had an amazing time — they especially enjoyed the play area and kayaking on the pond. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the game room added even more fun for the whole family. The location was peaceful and convenient, making it a perfect spot to unwind.Host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our visit, quickly answering any questions and accommodating our requests. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would happily stay here again!

Cabin was spacious. Deck was perfect for fishing and pool table area was entertaining for everyone

This was a beautiful home and perfect for a large group of us traveling together. We really appreciated all of the activities there were for all of the kids with us. We spent most of our time at the house because there was so much to do! Very comfortable rooms and plenty of space for our group of 14.

The cabin is fine. The bathrooms had mold, the refrigerator doesn't cool, the grill is very deteriorated, I almost burned myself, it broke because it's very old.

Upon arrival, I have to admit that I was disappointed by the curb appeal. The outside was dusty and needed sweeping. My nieces kept encouraging me to just be patient until we got inside. The inside was perfect! We enjoyed our stay!

We all loved this cabin. Very well stocked with all the amenities. Very clean and a lot of water toys for all the teens to use. Loved the pond and layout of the cabin as well. This property is amazing! Absolutely beautiful and lots of great amenities. It's in a wonderful location and our family had an absolute blast! Highly recommend for big family gatherings or groups of friends that want to travel together. VERY kid friendly but you'd have a blast just as an adults trip as well. In our case we had 8 grown adults, 3 kids in their 20s and 3 tweens/teens. Everyone LOVED it! The owner is fantastic and will respond to your questions or requests within minutes. We can't wait to come back!

My father just passed. My family needed healing and we got it here. It was freezing but my 2 brothers and I made fire in outside pit. We stayed outdoors all day and laughed and cried. A few beers may have been involved. What was so awesome, was the fact all bedrooms had their own bathroom. Highly recommend.

We chose this property for our annual Christmas vacation. 5 bedrooms and a bunkroom, all with their own bathroom was the decision maker for us. Property in a great location. Private pond with kayaks and other water toys. Very spacious. Great communication with the host.

This is the second year we have stayed at The Blue Canoe for our family Christmas and the place is perfect for our family! We love the pond and the supplies kayaks, life jackets, and canoe. The parents and kids loved getting in the water. We also love the location - close enough to activities but quiet enough to still be in nature. The house was also perfect for our family. The kids played upstairs and had plenty of things to keep them entertained. We will definitely book The Blue Canoe for our next family trip!
