The Black Ace is Creek Front & Minutes to Town

Josh was a very responsive, kind host. However, we would not stay here again due to the following. We stayed with 3 children and thought we were getting a 3 bedroom- this house is a 2 bedroom plus a loft. The loft is connected to the entire living room & kitchen. With concrete floors throughout with minimal rugs, it’s basically like staying in one big room with no sound barrier…even the tv remotes from upstairs and downstairs interfere with one another. There are windows throughout the main living areas and kitchen with zero window coverings…and this home is not secluded, with plenty of traffic up and down the dirt road and neighbors/trailers around. The laundry room is located in a different building on the property, although it is not a far walk. The beds were the hardest we’ve ever slept on in our lives. The living room only accommodates 4 people at most to sit. We did enjoy the fire pit on the screened patio. The home was very crisp and clean. This home may be perfect for someone, but it just wasn’t our cup of tea. And to reiterate, Josh was highly responsive and very kind & we are grateful for his efforts!

Beautiful home with an amazing kitchen with everything you need for gourmet meals and more! Wonderful valley views and sounds of the creek. Spent am and pm on the screened porch. The fire and dining tables were a nice touch. Host is very accommodating and quick to return any questions asked. Would stay again!

This was an amazing place! Being able to wake up and see the creek and sit and listen while drinking coffee was so relaxing. The kids had an awesome time as well from running around the property collecting fireflies in the late evening to just having a blast on the property. We were able to see some wild life, there was a fawn one morning that walked right behind the cabin.The owners are amazing and very helpful I cannot say enough good things. Over all this place is one I would go back to with my family or just my spouse. Close to hiking trails with rivers and falls. This place is amazing!

We loved our stay at Black Ace! Josh was very responsive and helpful in any questions we had. The location is beautiful and very convenient to town. Our kids loved playing in the creek right out front. We highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our girls weekend. Loved the sound of the stream, screened in porch, gas fire table, well decorated new construction (or felt like it). There was plenty of space for the 5 of us, could have held 3 more. Quiet and beautiful property. Had everything we needed.

Nice new home, provided plenty of space to spread out inside and out. Plenty of porch space facing the back of the yard where the birds are chirping, squirrels are playing and even a groundhog visits! Horseshoe pit near the fire pit in the side yard that is near the little creek. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking and eating utensils and two tables allow seating for a gang. Host was easy to contact and is very helpful.

The property is quite nice and beautifully appointed. The online pictures depict the property well, even though it is even nicer in person. We had everything we needed for our stay. Communications with Josh was excellent! Check in was easy. Everything worked as it should. It is away from town, but the property is beautiful and quiet. There are nice outside spaces to relax around fire pits. It was too cold for us to be able to enjoy the outdoor spaces, but the beautiful creek on the property provided for even more relaxation on a warmer day.The property had 2 king beds, one downstairs with a beautiful ensuite bathroom, and one upstairs, 1 queen bed and bathroom downstairs, 2 single beds upstairs in an open area and 2.5 bathrooms, the 2 full baths downstairs and the half bath upstairs. Perfect for a family.

Great place to stay. New, Clean, Nice furnishings. Nice amenities. Wifi, fire pit out side. Washer and Dryer access. We actually stayed in more than out due to the snow/ice while we were there. Communication was great with host. Walmarts and Dollar General located very close. Mc Donalds, Arbys I remember but not sure what else nearby restuants.Would book again if we come to the area.
