Nice quiet place just off the beaten track. It is in a great spot to get to town or for a scenic road trip across the Tennessee river. Lots of state parks near by. Cabin was clean, plenty of towels, & quiet. We will definitely be booking there when we go back to Alabama!

It was just beautiful and cozy. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. Matt the owner was kind and a great host. He made the visit easy, and definitely recommend the Bird House for your next stay.

The Birds Near was super cozy and comfortable.All the basic amenities were provided. The location was perfect. Tucked away and secluded for ultimate privacy.Only complaint I would have would have to be the water that leaked from the hottub and onto the concrete slab.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a getaway weekend. Everything was perfect! Beautiful property, everything was clean when we arrived, the host answered all of our questions in a timely manner, overall a wonderful stay! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Cozy and private setting, perfectly located to visit Little River Canyon National Preserve and DeSoto State Park. Well appointed furnishings and very clean.

Great little cabin with a very communicative host. The location is private enough that you can get away without dealing with others. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. The wifi worked perfectly as did the AC. If a smaller place to stay near Fort Payne is what you're looking for, you won't go wrong with The Bird House!

Such a sweet cabin! It was very clean and the host was extremely helpful! We come to Fort Payne once a year to hike and just get away. We would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of room outside for kids to play. I wish there was an easier/faster access from the back pourch to the fire place/hot tub in the back yard. Wonderful experience. Close to many restaurants, gas stations and hiking trails.

House was great! Super clean and had everything we needed. Close proximity to a gas station, restaurant and Dollar General so worked out well!

Property could not have been nicer. It was convenient to the things we wanted to see and do.

It was very peaceful and beautiful. The host Matt always replied right back to messages. Definitely recommend Matt and the birdhouse. Plan on going back in the future.

Excellent place for couple to stay and hike at all the parks

We really enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse. Very quiet,clean and cozy.

The house was clean, easy to find, and exactly what we expected from the pictures. I would recommend bringing some flip flops or sandals to walk to the hot tub because the rocks are rough on bare feet. We enjoyed having a fire outside and watching the stars and listening to the coyotes. Would definitely go back to this house.

It was wonderful !! We had a small hickup but we got ahold of Matt and he was very responsive and we can't wait to come back ..

This is a perfect spot to have a “do nothing” weekend away from the kids and life’s responsibilities. Listing’s description is accurate and pictures tell the whole story. Owners are responsive to inquiries, and the location is fairly secluded. We are going to come back at some point.

The price for this cabin was great. It was in the perfect location to everything. Includes restaurants, the parks and the town. I would definitely book this cabin again and with the owner.
