The Bigfoot Lodge - Winter Fun! Game Room, Walk to Downtown, Lake membership

Such a wonderful retreat for our family! The teen/kids loved the game room, each reaching high scores in different games. Plenty of space for each of us to spread out, read, puzzle, color and journal. We were in a perfect location for food and town exploring plus a quick drive up to the snow for tubing at Leland! Truly a wonderful weekend experience. We cannot wait to book another trip. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and communicative.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The cabin was very roomy and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It's within walking distance to the restaurants in town and snow parks are just a quick drive up the mountain. The communication was absolutely phenomenal and you are guaranteed a stress free experience. We will be back to stay there again soon. We enjoyed every minute!

The Bigfoot lodge was comfy, cozy and clean. We enjoyed our NYE vacation there. My kids especially loved the game room! Great location for us to go sledding and play in the snow! Would book again!

We had a great stay at Bigfoot! The house was really well equipped for a family-friendly stay, and the kids and adults had a lot of fun with the game room. It was a great location - walkable to town but in a lovely neighborhood. We would stay there again!

Clean cabin, bath towels bedding, kitchen conveniences were presented orderly and easy to find.

we did not spend much time with all the entertainment options since we were in the area for a larger gathering. Loved the coffee grinder! And plenty of space

We had a great stay at The Bigfoot Lodge. The cabin was just as described. The AC was a huge relief as we travelled during a hot spell. The recliners and couch were extremely comfortable for our group of 6. The kitchen was well stocked and well laid out. The cabin had a fun and rustic feel which was perfect for what we were looking for. Out host, Scott couldn't have been more responsive and friendly. He answered all of our questions quickly and made the stay very seamless. Thanks again for a great stay. We will definitely be back.

Perfect house, the kitchen was well stocked, house was clean and cozy. I liked the gated yard. We had a family of deer’s grazing next to the fence. The game room was a lot of fun. The owner was great to work with and responded very quickly. I would definitely book it again.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Loved the balcony and the game room. Will definitely come back. Scott was informative and clear in his communication.

Great cabin property with good access to town. Well appointed kitchen and a great game room for the kids with lots of arcade games. Plenty of board games for the whole family and a nice deck area to watch the wildlife! Cabin was rustic but you can tell the owners care about updates and working to keep it in good shape. Would gladly stay here again!

We really loved our stay and this has been one of my favorite Twain Harte properties ! Character galore ! The big foot theme is so cute . Pros : + Place was well appointed and I didn’t have to use the extra tp I brought for 4 of us for 4 days + Easy /simple check in and check out ! + Game room was awesome , my kids loved it ! + The queen sized upstairs bedroom stayed nice and dark and we appreciated the wall unit a/c. + The motion lights outside in driveway were so helpful . + downstairs ac worked fantastically . + beautiful ambient lighting + great water pressure and no issues with toilets flushing etc + Twain Harte lake access + internet worked great + lots of plugs for electronic charging etc + hosts were super friendly and accommodating ! Suggestions for hosts - consider adding insulated room darkening curtains to the game room and downstairs bedrooms :) I frequently make this suggestion when I travel Especially with kids as it helps with sleep ! - wall unit a/c would be helpful for the game room bedroom as it got toasty during hot days /nights (even with fans and airing out ) but tolerable ! (Or maybe moving the game away from a/c floor unit would help circulation). Suggestions for guests : Bring your own Kleenex . It’s one thing I always forget! The cabin was exactly as described, the beds were super comfy, we watched deer in the mornings and evenings, and listened to so many different birds. Having lake access was great, it’s super close and my teenagers had so much fun. Scott was great - answered texts quickly and was super communicative. Required cleanup on checkout day was reasonable and easy. Overall an amazing trip and when we come back to Twain Harte we will absolutely stay here again.
