The Bear Trap, cozy, little cabin is surrounded amongst 10 secluded acres of hard woods and pines. It shares the property with two other cabins. Here, you'll want to wake up early and sit on the patio with a cup of coffee enjoying the morning fresh air. Take a stroll down the hand made trails system by walking, snowshoeing or even cross country skiing on them too. With plenty of space, bring up your toys and go on nearby snowmobile trails in the winter time or side x side in the off seasons!
The Bear Trap can accommodate up to 3 people comfortably in its studio style cabin layout with a twin over full size bunk bed in the living room. It offers Wifi access for mobile devices and a smart TV inside the cabin. It also gives you a half size Kitchen with silverware, plates, glasses, coffee maker, hot plate, pots, pans along with a few pantry staples, a refrigerator along with a microwave. If you’d like something a little larger with baking options, there is a communal kitchen is just next door for our guests to utilize and enjoy that offers a full size kitchen and also laundry that is shared amongst a second cabin on the property.
So, gather your loved ones around the yard to enjoy a summertime grill out. Let the kids run off some energy. Then as the evening starts, light the bonfire up to toast marshmallows amongst the stars. Be with family and friends again. Take a break and enjoy your retreat. (I recommend bringing picnic/disposable plates, cups, silverware if eating outside)
Before you leave, relax and rejoice on your days of adventure with family and friends. End your trip with a walk and listen to nature. Welcome to The Bear Trap where it may be little, but it's full of memories.

I highly recommend staying here. It was a home away from home. Jamie put much thought into this place and it shows. From the basic kitchen staples in case you forgot them to the ease of check in and out. I will be staying here again.
Really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Did get lost leaving on day one, through my own fault. It didn't really matter as we weren't going anywhere in particular anyway. Everything we needed for 2 was in the cabin. The community kitchen just next door would have supplied anything else that may have been needed and I might have to outfit my garage the same way... full stove etc. Lol. The only issue was spotty internet and the TV would lose internet connection. Didn't bother me at all as I don't care to watch TV but I realize that this could be a problem for other people.
