The 3 Bears Cabin - an Adirondack adventure

This cabin was just perfect for a week long getaway. It was very comfortable and we loved the wood burning stove as we were here in Nov. so we were super cozy. I recommend it.

The cabin was great and had all the amenities (and more) that you need! Our favorite spot was the fire pit in the backyard because our small kids loved making campfires very night. Perfect for a family of four! We enjoyed being more in the woods but close to the touristy attractions in Wilmington and Lake Placid.

Peace and quiet abounds. very nice ADK cabin feel and all the amenities needed. Could have used a little more cleaning and maintenance but overall a good value.

Great cabin. Perfect quiet location. Able to walk my dog wothout worrying about traffic. Would absoluetly recommend. Just needs new shower heads.

Awesome stay!

Enjoyed a very cozy and comfortable 7 days. Cabin had everything needed for our stay. Firebox was great. Strongly recommend.

We've been coming to this cabin for years and it's always great. Good value, straightforward, cozy interior. What's not to love?

House could use a good cleaning. 2nd hiking trip with friends. If had been my family probably would not have stayed. Hair in both bathrooms and showers. Used shampoo soap and conditioner containers in bathrooms. Upstairs shower head leaking/dripping constantly and was last year so probably never fixed. Clean damp towels found in washer.

Nice place to stay very quiet

Nice place, however during our stay, heat indexes were 95 to 100. Inside cabin temps near 90 plus every day. We reached out the property manager for a possible portable AC unit and stated that we'd have to leave before our paid stay as unbearable. ZERO RESPONSE! Left a day early. Now four days since, no reply at all!

Great place, well maintained. Lovely area, would stay again

This was our 3rd time staying at Three Bears and it was perfect as usual. The cabin is amazing. It’s in a great location (surrounded by woods) and only 15 minutes from Whiteface and about 30 minutes from Lake Placid. Will definitely be going back again.

Stayed here with my love over Valentine’s Day while he skied the face. Had to bring our dog last minute. The host was so gracious got back to us quickly for early check-in and let us bring our pup. The home was so beautiful and had everything we could’ve needed. Absolutely would stay here again.

Perfect cabin for a winter stay. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Kitchen is nicely arranged and great for cooking meals and baking brownies. 15 minutes from Wilmington Dam and 25-30 minutes from Lake Placid Village. Nathan provided a daily plow to handle the three consecutive nights of snow perfectly. Our dog loved it too. Just be prepared for stairs to get to the bedrooms or walk around them through the back. Would highly recommend. Would definitely stay again

Great cabin, warm, rustic, comfortable. Wodd burning stove was beautiful at night. We plan on coming back.

The cabin is just as we remember it after a few years. It's well maintained and cozy. A great value for the area too.

Nice comfortable camp and quiet area, we enjoyed our stay. Instructions for entry code didn’t match and confusing keypad on the door handle. No wood for Fire pit only 2-3 pieces of wood for wood stove. Recommend updating welcome sheet with internet codes and instructions for the multiple heating options and controls. Bedrooms in basement nice, but has a damp musty smell. musky smell.

Had a great stay at Three Bears Cabin. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the very adirondack cabin decorations and vibe. Saw some lovely deer most mornings around the area. Thanks for a lovely stay.

3 Bears is very clean and in a peaceful place. I loved the layout of the upstairs - nice open concept. It was one of the best-stocked rentals I've been at with everything from kitchen items to band aides and bug spray! The only down side was the narrow, steep stairs to the down stairs bedrooms. We are in our 70's and in good shape but I can see where this could be a problem for someone who has any mobility issues. We could not get our German Shepherd to go down these stairs, but luckily there is a door leading outside for the downstairs so we could let him in that way at night to be near us. Everything else was great!

Great house with all we needed

We had a wonderful time at The 3 Bears Cabin. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the location as it was within driving distance of so many things. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful inside. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay for my pup and I. It’s in a very nice location. Quiet, room between neighbors, and only a half hour from lake placid. Thank you again for the stay! Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful

For some reason the upstairs was ungodly hot. You couldn’t stay in to long because there were no air conditioners and it was July! The stairs down to the bedrooms were very steep so not got any anyone with knee or back issues. That being said it was cute cozy and clean.
