Take Me to the River – Blue Ridge, GA

Long weekend with adult children and spouses. This was an absolutely wonderful weekend. This is a super property. Lots of very comfortable places to sit. Quick drive to town. Beautiful stretch of river. Kitchen stock was not the best I have seen but we managed very well. One of the beds could use a newer mattress or better frame otherwise it was perfect. The property management team should get an extra 5 star rating for handling a potential disaster problem with professionalism and grace on check out day. I am very appreciative of them.

This property along the river is beautiful as pictured. Unfortunately the house itself was not the cleanest, had a major bug problem that the property mgmt refused to remedy and lack of basic necessities, toilet paper, paper towels, soaps ect. These are just simple things that adequate supply of are expected with a big house and longer stay. We made the best of it, but I would steer clear of properties managed by Southern Cabin Rentals.

We really enjoyed this cabin. The river was so relaxing and the fishing was pretty good too! Only two suggestions I have are labeling of the light switches and some non stick cookware lol!

Pies- Cabin was a great location! Loved the property and location to the river! The kids loved playing in the yard and hanging out by the fire! Great service when I called about the hot tub! The outside space is awesome! Cons- There is no railing on the top bunk bed, this seems to be a safety hazard. We did not have our kids sleep up there. The guest room that faces the river there was a dresser in front of the bed and you could not walk around to the other side of the bed, this seems odd. Luckily we had smaller kids and were able to put them in that room. There are a ton of light switches downstairs, labeling them would help! All in all loved the cabin, great location, right on the river, and beautiful place to stay!
