Tahoe Park Architectural Gem – Cozy, Convenient & Dog-Friendly!

Fantastic place! It was very cozy for our weekend getaway. The bed was comfortable and it was the perfect amount of space for 2 of us and our dog. Close walk to the lake and a short drive to the mountain to ski.

Everything was amazing, we loved it!

My children and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. We would love to come again!

We enjoyed our stay. We liked the location tucked off the main street in a lovely neighborhood. The short walk to the Firesign Cafe for breakfast was a plus. The check in was easy.

Good location, quiet neighborhood. WiFi did not work our entire stay.

The Buckhorn Cabin was such a wonderful stay for our family this Christmas. We were so comfortable and happy and look forward to returning!

This architectural gem of a cabin is SO well appointed and cozy … everything you might think to need. Carolyn is very responsive. One tip … in case your reception for emails is weak, make certain to exchange cell #’s to communicate with Carolyn as I had no problems with my cell phone for contacting her. LOVED this Gem!

The cabin was amazing! It was incredibly cozy, with a stunning kitchen and bathroom. The amenities, including private-acess to the beach. The access to nature and unforgettable nature views make it a perfect mountain getaway!

Very cute cabin with lots of alpine cabin decor that helped immerse us in the Tahoe experience, including the skylights that let us view the forest around us. The nearby private beach club was beautiful, and the short stroll over to nearby Sunnyside and Shadyside restaurants was convenient when we wanted to eat out. The beautiful bike route was close by and we were able to ride to it directly from the cabin. Carolyn was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to coming back.

Great spot to chill out or act as a home base for mountain activities. Private lake access is 2 blocks away with awesome beach and dock facilities. The house is 2nd floor above garage and super cute and clean. Has a nice deck area for wine and snacks while your dog hangs out in the yard. Carolyn is a great hostess and we will absolutely be going back

Carolyn’s cabin in North Lake Tahoe is a hidden gem. The pictures do not do it justice, this cabin is pristine, charming, cozy, and the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Carolyn and her family were such gracious hosts, providing area recommendations and puppy friends for our Corgi to play with!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful and cozy Buckhorn cabin! Carolyn was an amazing host--she was so friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of great suggestions from beaches to restaurants within walking distance and beyond. The location is a dream--walking distance to restaurants, cafe/deli and a gorgeous private beach. One thing to be aware of is that the private beach only allows dogs before 10 am. This wasn't a problem for us because there is a great dog park and dog friendly beach within close driving distance--ask Carolyn for directions. I'll include photos of the private beach and the interior of the cabin.

Carolyn’s property is absolutely beautiful. The best part for us is how clean it was despite it being pet friendly. Carolyn is also just a lovely person. Very responsive. We look forward to staying again next summer!

Charming, classic & comfortable Tahoe cabin! The cabin was just perfect for our 5 day stay in beautiful Tahoe. Location was fantastic and the host was a delight to work with. We will be back next summer!

Beautiful lodge above a garage, private, nice and quiet. Our host, Carolyn, was very welcoming and answered any and all questions. She provided great suggestions for hiking that we checked out and found them all to be wonderful. The location is close to all the places we visited, so it was perfect on top of being spacious, comfortable and clean. Thank you Carolyn for sharing your place with us!

Great place to stay! Cabin is so warm and inviting. It feels like you are in the trees! One couldn’t ask for a better location. Private beach, close to bike trails, restaurants. Host easy to communicate with and very helpful. Highly recommend a stay at Buckhorn cabin.

This is a lovely home, with everything you could need and a ton of charm. It much bigger than we anticipated - which was a huge plus. Its also conveniently situated close to Palisades and a short walk to lake access, a cute market/cafe, and a fabulous brunch spot. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it for others! Minor things we flagged for the homeowner (i) we struggled a bit with internet access and the host tried to help us troubleshoot the issue, eventually we worked at the cafe/market down the road; (ii) its worth noting that the bathroom and bedroom don't have doors, nor walls that fully extend to the ceiling so if you are using the sink in the restroom, you could hear it from the living room/bedroom. This wasn't a problem for us, but thought it was worth a mention. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back next year!

Every aspect of our stay here was great. The beach access was very convenient, the nearby restaurants and shops were fantastic. The cabin was clean, in a nice neighborhood and a perfect space for my wife, dog and me.

The stay was great! Host was very responsive via text, and the cabin was super vibey

We enjoyed the location and cozy feel of the cabin. However, listing an electric “fireplace” that puts out no heat as a fireplace is quite a stretch. Kitchen was dirty, poorly organized and needs a thorough cleaning. Coffee maker had mildew in the tank and an old pod on arrival. Sink had food debris and the water only worked part of the time. Wifi did not work on the 5g we were told to use- we’re able up connect to main house in one area of the cabin. Overall a nice stay but this rental needs some love and attention to deserve the 5 star review the owner asks for. You could tell the place had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while- makes you wonder why we are paying a cleaning fee.

Space was clean and heat worked well in the cabin. The place was easy to find and check in was perfect. We were not fully aware that the garage under the cabin would be in-use by the owners, but it was no problem at all. I would stay here again!

Our family of 3 had a great stay here. It was very cozy and had everything we needed. We hope to come back and stay on our next Tahoe trip.

Located on the best part of Lake Tahoe (in my opinion) so close to so many activities. The cabin was great and the host was awesome. We arrived late at night and she still made sure we got checked in ok. Was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again

The cabin is a very charming and comfortable space. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the cabin is comfortably furnished throughout. Could use a little TLC overall given age of property and usage, to really standout at 5 stars, but still is likely some cuts above most other rentals in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much.
