The cabin is on a 5.5 acre lot. We are building another cabin on the lot but it is well divided by trees in order to maintain the seclusion and privacy that the cabin offers. The second cabin should be completed fall of 2024.
A portion of profits from the cabin go to support our missionary work in Africa.
We are in Uganda from October until until the beginning of May. VRBO sometimes blocks me from there. I will make every effort to respond to messages but if you don't hear back from me, that is why
Let's start with the important stuff. This place is clean. No, Better than clean, pristine. What about the outhouse? The outhouse is clean, has a pleasant wood scent, no odors of poo or anything else. Cozy, quiet, private, location, but convenient to Denali national park, grocery store, and local restaurants.
Loved being in the wilderness. The cabin is compact, but we just need a quite place to sleep while we explored the area.
We enjoyed being in the quiet setting
This property was a great cabin with privacy located near Denali National Park. It was even better than advertised and their hospitality was great! Highly recommend this property!
Information provided was concise and easy to follow.
The cabin is perfect for those who want to be off grid and enjoy the beauty of what Alaska has to offer. It is comfortable and has everything you need. There is a market just south to pick up some groceries so you can cook and/or grill while enjoying the serenity. Though we only spent one night, it was the most memorable of our week long trip driving through Alaska. The hosts are quick to respond and the experience they create is one of a kind.
This was a perfect little overnight stay. The property was immaculate and well kept. Everything was well stocked and beautiful. The instructions were thorough and well written. We could see the Alaskan Range from the cabin!! We were hoping for a moose or bear sighting, but no luck there. :) I could be wrong, but I thought I heard wolves in the distance at night? Wish we didn't have the mosquitoes --- they were a nuisance even though we turned off our vehicle quickly. I would have loved to spend time sitting on the outside porch, but they would have eaten us up. However, I realize that goes with Alaskan territory, too. The property manager was awesome and they did a terrific job communicating and caring for the cabin. I loved that it supported their missions and I loved that we got a taste for off-grid living.
The property is beautiful and the cabin is very relaxing.
Had a great one night stay, loved the property!
The cabin was very well appointed, with all the little details that make a place feel special and like home away from home (and set in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness). Convenient to get to/from Denali, but be away even from those crowds.. The grill and back deck were quiet and wonderful for eating and relaxing. Shower was excellent. Outhouse was clean and well maintained.
