Healy, Alaska
Our secluded “authentic Alaskan cabin” is nestled in a rustic setting with spectacular mountain views. This private wooded property, boasting trails and plenty of wildlife, is walking distance to Otto Lake. Enjoy great fishing, swimming, and other water activities or stop at Black Diamond Resort for tundra golf, horse pulled wagon rides, ATV excursions, or fine dining.
Our quaint town of Healy is the home to several unique dining experiences, an amazing coffee spot, local brewery, and so much more. Down the heart of the community is the Parks Highway, which takes you to an outdoor adventure at Denali National Park less than 15 minutes away.
The authentic Alaskan cabin has an open great room, with sleeper couches, and a built-in dining area. The sitting room, with a day bed, opens to a private patio. Up a steep stairs, which adds to the experience, leads to the loft. The loft has a comfortable full bed, exhilarating views, and additional amenities. The kitchen is full service, with fridge, sink, microwave and stove. Off the main entrance deck, the mountain views are beyond description. The bathroom offers a sink, shower, and a waterless Separett toilet. However, for those truly desiring the full Alaskan experience, there is an “elite” outhouse out back as well. If your previous adventures have left you exhausted, not to worry…we will provide wireless Internet and Netflix.

We enjoined spending a few nights in this cozy cabin. A very quiet isolated place just a 3 minutes drive from highway and a few more minutes to Denali park entrance. The upper half-floor has gorgeous mountain views. Very clean. Just be aware of ecologic (no running water restroom) - really high tech. Thank you Tommy
Very neat property with a unique history. Enjoyed the stay.
We needed at least 2 more chairs for the table and more drinking water. The young adults wanted shades. Easy drive to Denali, restaurants, and the grocery store. We enjoyed the decks!!
Nice clean place. Nice location. I wouldn’t want to be there with 8 people. I would say it sleeps 4 comfortably, maybe 5. Overall great experience!
Nice quiet place in the woods, a bit quirky, but I'd trade all that for having a moose and two calves come in the yard one night and the few of an Alaskan moonrise (15 minutes long)!
Beautiful location. We were going to Denali and to Alaska Christian College for mission work. We loved the patio and the area. Loved the decorations.
Our family of 6 stayed here for 2 nights. It definitely has a rustic feel to it, but it was very clean and we were comfortable here. It's a nice short drive to Denali National Park.
Our cabin experience was a treat! Karla shared the history of the cabin, which was comfortable, nicely decorated, and conveniently located near Denali. We enjoy “walk abouts” around the cabin, looking for evidence of wildlife, playing games which were generously supplied, and sleeping in comfort.
We really enjoyed our stay here with our family (2 adults and 6 kids, ages 2-13). The cabin had plenty of room for our large family, the well-stocked kitchen was really helpful with being able to cook dinner, and everything was so well organized! The cabin is very well located for visits to Denali National Park, as well as various restaurants and a grocery store. We would highly recommend this cabin to others looking for an authentic Alaskan cabin experience.
It was an enjoyable stay. I would stay again and would highly recommend staying here. Very secluded yet 5 minutes from everything you need. So close to the National Park, only 15 minutes. Also Moose came right up to the front door while we were there. They do need to get blinds for the windows as it is light out most of the time I the summer.
Convenient location to Denali national park. Has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Authentic Alaska cabin for sure! We enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It is as beautifully restored cabin with a history that is intriguing. Everything is very tasteful. We were able to sit on the deck and enjoy multiple moose sightings as well as beautiful views. It is a slice of paradise within a few miles of gas , food and restaurants. A short drive to Denali National Park allows for access without all of the crowds. We all (ages 12 to 71) loved and would highly recommend for anyone craving the solitude of authentic Alaskan lodging.
