It was a breath taking view you can have not only from the deck but also from your bedroom every single time.

It was a wonderful stay, definitely worth the drive to the top. The view was different every morning but always breathtaking.

We had a lovely albeit too brief stay in The House of the Rising Sun! The cabin was extremely well appointed, and Sunrise from a very clean hot-tub was most enjoyable. The steep drive up was well worth it just for the breathtaking views of the Smokey Mountains. All the information received from Pavan and Tracey was comprehensive and clear in the run-up and during our stay. Highly recommend, and I hope we can visit again in the not too distant future.

The cabin was absolutely phenomenal and exactly as it appeared in the listing! It was so easy to check in and I appreciated the host’s instructions and local tips. The hot tub was a true delight and the views…oh, my, THE VIEWS!!! Absolutely spectacular. For those concerned about the drive up the mountain: 1. It is totally worth it. 2. Not a problem if you’re not shy on the gas pedal. 3. Try to plan your arrival time before sunset starts so that you have less glare on your windshield going up the last part. (I avoided ever making the drive in the dark.) I felt safe and well-cared for (from afar!). It was the perfect private, peaceful, relaxing getaway. One of the most professional VRBOs I’ve experienced and felt right at home. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful property! Very well maintained and cleaned! The views and pool table were my favorites parts! And i loved the guest book! It was cool being able to read little peicea of past experiences. Will be returning in the future.

This cabin is just perfect for a getaway. Its private, the view is fantastic, hosts are awesome, and the cabin was furnished with everything yiu need and very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

The cabin has the best views! I could live on that porch! The hot tub was quite a nice touch with a cool front rolling in. Five Oks Riding Stables- our favorite area, where we zipline and rode horses. Their sister site has better zip lining- from mountain top to mountain top. the Apple Barn was excellent. Tuckaleechee Caverns was a personal fave. Cade’s Cove is lovely and a sure way to see local wildlife!

It was a fantastic stay with a beautiful view of the mountains and the town, all the entertainment is very close, it is very easy to go up. I thought it would be terrifying to go up sloping streets but it isn't, I loved it, just be patient, stay calm and press the accelerator for a few seconds. Pavan was very kind, he answered and helped with all my questions very quickly.

It was an amazing experience for us all. The views were incredible and we loved the look of the cabin. We didn’t want to leave but of course we had to go back to our own home. I would definitely recommend going back to the place we called “our second home “.

The house was beautiful, views were immaculate! The drive up was steep so make sure you’re prepared, but it was well worth the beautiful views!

Me and my wife were meeting friends to stay at another cabin for a few days and we decided to go a day early. We rented this cabin for the night for just us and I have to say the only negative about this trip was we didn't stay at this cabin the whole trip. The views were amazing and cabin was clean. Hot tub also clean and ready to go. Everything listed was accurate. We will definitely rent again from them without hesitation.

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains was gorgeous. The drive up was very steep as described but it got easier. Communication with owner was very easy. I hope to come back to this cabin again.

What a perfect cabin for my hubby's birthday weekend!! The size was perfect for a couple (a small fam too). We loved watching the sunrise from the deck and especially the loft bed upstairs. The cabin had everything we needed. We had a bear prowl around one morning and it peeked into our car window! Watch your back to be sure there isn't one around but we were inside and it was fun!Pros: great size for two, appliances worked well, beds comfy, hot tub was perfect temp, view was mountainy as hoped for, bear was fun to see, the hosts were great communicators. Cons: drive does feel weird the first time but if at the top of the hill - instrad of swinging right into thr drive, if you drive up to neighbor cabin and turn around to get a straight shot into the driveway that helps a lot, bear was a pro and con LOL, no screens on windows so open windows make for a few bugs, power lines and a tree in the corner did interfere with some of the view.No other cons...it was a great space and we'd stay there again.

Fantastic view and property was exactly as listed. Very clean and comfortable home. Roads to cabin are fun and you are definitely climbing into mountains, but well paved easy to navigate.

I would absolutely recommend this cabin. The cabin was clean, had everything you need all you needed to bring was your groceries! Amazing views, hot tub, WiFi, and nice porch overlooking the area. The drive up to the cabin is steep as stated but you get used to it. I will absolutely stay here again!

We will stay again. We fell in love with this cabin. The views are breathtaking. The hot tub is always a plus. And my husband and daughter loved to play on the pool table. We will stay again and will definitely be back.

The views were top notch, nice and quiet relaxing place, clear view you can see for miles.

We arrived at the cabin and the weather was nice, after unloading our truck we decided to drive into town to get groceries during which time it began to snow.We were not able to drive back to the cabin due to snow and other cars that had slide into one another blocking the road, we had to walk to the cabin 2.6 miles each way in 18 degree weather, we would have just stayed at a hotel but our luggage was at the cabin along with our medications. So we hiked the 2.6 miles UPHILLL to the cabin while carrying our groceries . Three hours later we when arrived we began to put the groceries away And that when we noticed the mice. There was several mice running around, and we found feces in all the drawers and cabinets along with poison and traps so the owners were obviously aware of the infestation. I emailed them and they seemed unconcerned but only offered to refund the cleaning fee for me. The only thing I found pleasant about the cabin was the view.

Great cabin superb view, couldn’t be happier

The reason I put 4 for cleanliness is because there was a lot of cob webs and what not in the corners of the shower. Upstairs under and around the bed was dirty and there was beer cans off in the front yard from the balcony. Nothing that bothered me more than the reason for a 4 Star vs a 5 Star in cleanliness. Will be back for sure!

We came to Sevierville for the weekend to get married and this cabin was perfect! We were within 15 minutes of everywhere we needed to be. There was plenty of lodging nearby for our family. Lots of shopping and restaurants near by. The road up felt a little scary but the views were totally worth it. The cabin was super clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Property was as described, very clean. Host was very prompt in responding to texts. One of the best mountain views I've seen & I have been to the area a lot! Would definitely stay here again.

My kids and I enjoyed the cabin for a few days. This is literally on the top of the mountain and has the best sunrise view. We had most of our meals in the cabin and had everything this we needed as far as pans, dishes, and utensils. The hot tub was super nice and the beds are comfortable, which is a huge plus for me! Would love to go back!

Be ready to be at the top of the mountain and see the most spectacular view! Absolutely loved this spot would make the trip out to stay again. Wasnt just a commercialized property. Its a home away from home.
