Sunset Views + New Hot Tub | Ellijay & Blue Ridge

Stayed for 3 nights and wanted to stay more! The views were beautiful every morning and night. Unexpectedly wasn’t prepared for the drive up the mountain to the driveway in my car on a gravel road but other than that it was great! I definitely will be coming back to see more of the town and the views! Loved the hosts they were very helpful and sweet!

The view is extraordinary, the cabin has almost everything we needed and the communication with the host was great.

Great property the views are stunning and in person is the only justice that it provides. Chip is accommodating and helpful! We will be back.

If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful spot to wake up to, this is your gem. Located in a great jump-off location for the adventurer, with hiking, biking, off-roading, and fishing opportunities. Minutes away from a local town to find groceries and essentials you'll need for the stay, and 20 minutes away from Blue Ridge's historic downtown. I'm always torn on writing these reviews because I want to keep them to myself, but that wouldn't do the owners of this location any good if I didn't brag. Super nice host to communicate with, and diligent about making sure everything was going well.

My stay at this beautiful cabin was exactly what I needed. Words cannot describe the views from the deck. It is breathtaking and out of this world. I would definitely recommend this awesome, comfy, clean cabin to anyone and everyone. U won’t regret it. The hosts were very reliable and friendly. Wish I could have stayed forever lol Carmie and Chip, thank you so much for having us stay in this beautiful cabin, you’ll be seeing us again for sure.

Please do not travel at night. Big mistake we made! Please use WAZE directions too! Mapquest will not get you there, and trust me when I tell you, you don't want to be in the mountains at night. Once we finally made it to the property, it was BEAUTIFUL! Breathtaking, and I can't wait to go back. The views were EVERYTHING, and the hot tub was a nice touch. We will be returning soon. You know you had a good time when you are already looking forward to a return visit. There was so much to love about our visit to Sunset Peak. For starters, when my wife and I first walked through the door, the smell of fresh pine captivated our senses. We literally stood in the hallway and closed our eyes for a few minutes to take it all in. After our brief moment of serenity, we slowly walked towards the living room / kitchen area of the cabin and was blown away by the majestic beauty of the mountain ridge that was right before our eyes. I know the saying goes, A picture is worth a thousand words but in this cause, the pictures on the website don't give Sunset Peak justice. The views from the back porch and from the hot tub is spectacular. Chip and Carmie, you guys need to do a master class on how to host. Your attention to detail and southern hospitality really made our 20th anniversary trip memorable. Thank You for being so personable. Your calls, text and Ellijay area recommendations were welcoming. We had a great time at Sunset Peak! The view from the back porch was incredible. The home itself was comfortable and perfect for our weekend getaway.

Had a Great Stay with 2 of our Grands. Seems the highlight of the Stay was the time there and being able to spend time in the Hot Tub. Great Value and Chip was very helpful even with suggestions on where to spend time while in Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

My wife, dog, and I had a great 3-night stay. The cabin was clean and very nicely appointed. The view is fantastic. It rained 2 of the days, and we just hunkered down under the covered deck, listened to music, and read. It was bliss. If we had a question, Chip immediately responded. We’d definitely stay there again.

This place was perfect the cabin was extremely clean the bathroom was well stocked plenty of towels and everything needed the kitchen had everything the veiw was amazing the pictures didn't show how good the view was this was a turn key deal the host communication was excellent I can't express how good of an experience this was

We had the best time at Sunset Peak! The cabin was clean, views were amazing, hot tub was perfect, it was just an overall great trip. The only thing I will say is to make sure you follow the host’s directions for driving to the cabin, otherwise you'll get lost. Host was very nice and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend and will likely be returning!

Chip the host was awesome. Great suggestion on where to eat to activates to do. The cabin was amazing. The views were incredible. The pictures do not do it justice. I actually timed our activities so I could be back to sit on back porch to watch sunset. Inside of cabin was very well maintained and decorated.

Cozy, quiet and amazing views. Super clean. Didn’t use hot tub or fireplace but appeared as it should with plenty of wood. Cooked several times and had everything needed. Owners were great and made sure we had everything needed. Very responsive through the whole process. If you have a choice between car or truck- bring your truck. Will be back next fall.

Wow! The pics don’t even begin to describe how peaceful and stunning the views are! It was a wonderful stay. We had amazing weather, amazing sunsets and full moon stargazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Peak! The hot tub during the sunsets was perfect. The balcony/deck was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee and dinners al fresco. The bedrooms are outfitted with room-darkening shades which were immensely appreciated. The communications between the host were so attentive and quick to respond. Don’t pass on this cabin! Side note: if you forget your book, they have a great cache of must-reads! Thanks, Chip and Carmie!

Perfect place with the BEST view - exactly like pictures. We were nervous about the drive, but we were able to make it in our Honda Pilot. The house was clean, and it had plenty of towels and things we could need. We loved our stay, and we can’t wait to come back.

The accommodations were both welcoming and clean. The host were very accommodating and provided very easy access. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute, cozy cabin in the Ellijay mountains! The cabin was spotless and had such a warm, inviting feel — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The host, Chip, was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with the hot tub before our stay, he personally came out to fix it and even gave us a tour of his beautiful property next door!It’s about a 30-minute drive to groceries and other stores, but that added to the peaceful, secluded charm — exactly what we wanted for our anniversary getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Peak. Chip & Carmie were fantastic hosts, they were very communicative, gave great recommendations, and made our stay super easy! We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch while enjoying the views, we indulged in the hot tub every night, and loved exploring the surrounding areas. We were excited for downtown Blue Ridge but highly preferred downtown Ellijay! It was a great town with many cute places to eat and drink. Our favorite winery was Roo Mountain! My boyfriend (now fiancé!) proposed on the back porch at sunset and it was so romantic and definitely unforgettable! We will definitely be back. Thank you, Chip & Carmie, for a lovely stay!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for a quiet get away. My wife and I had gotten married the day before our arrival day. When we got to the cabin, a note with a celebratory bottle of wine was waiting on us from the host. The owner’s hospitality was unparalleled. We had a long list of great restaurants to eat while we stayed which was sent to us by our host. And the view!!!!!! Photos could never do it justice! The most difficult choice we had to make was should we have our coffee from the back deck or from the hot tub deck!!!. The cabin was pet friendly which was huge for us. Plenty of room and great kitchen so we could cook and just hang out and enjoy our time there. I will say that 4 wheel drive is a plus to have to get there but not a must. We will be back!!!! Thanks again for such a great experience!!!

The views for the cabin are exceptional. The cabin was so cute and cozy. I do recommend driving a truck or 4x4 as the dirt road leading up to the cabin can get steep and rough. But overall the cabin was great and communication with the owners was great. They were very responsive.

It was very well kept , and equipped to have a comfortable stay whether you’re coming to adventure or just hang out in a cabin with a scenic view . Chip was a very responsive and communicative host on helping us get to the cabin as well

Our stay was the perfect girl's getaway. The location is peaceful, and the cabin is perfect! All amenities...absolutely anything you could need, was in the cabin!

This was one of the best experiences that we have had in our lives. The view was breathtaking and the serenity was next to none. We will be back in the near future. This may be our private getaway for every August. We just fell in the and the owners kept in touch throughout the process which made everything exceptional .

This cabin is certainly way up on the mountain. You can see beautiful sunsets for the balcony. The views from the hot tub are also spectacular! This cabin is very rustic which we loved! Carmie and Chip did an amazing job with the decor in this cabin. The cabin was stocked with all of the essentials that you can think of. They even had body wash and shampoo in the shower. That definitely came in handy as we forgot to pack bar soap. We enjoyed staying at Sunset Peak!

Hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly with great recommendations. The property is spectacular if you’re looking for peaceful and serene, this is it. Clean and well maintained home with well thought out staples in the kitchen. Tons of cute towns nearby and lots of things to do if you’re interested in hiking and outdoor activities, the scenic byway, and beautiful sunsets. The drive up the mountain to the house is definitely steep and very dark at night 4 wheel drive is a must with that being said 100% worth the drive!

We were looking for a place to get away from Atlanta and relax in each other’s company. This place fit the bill and was wonderful. Very clean and well taken care of, big kitchen for cooking together and hanging out, massive porch to enjoy the mountain view’s from, and private hot tub to relax in and catch the beautiful sunsets. The host was extremely helpful and communicative. Couldn’t ask for more! Will definitely go back!

This cabin was very new, nicely furnished and decorated with all the necessities plus some. Absolutely gorgeous view. Owners were very helpful with suggestions for local events and restaurants.

The cabin was pristine- all new and beautifully built. Very clean. The views outside on the deck were absolutely breathtaking. Very peaceful. I can't say enough wonderful things about the hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and even checked in on me during my stay. They were very responsive and the cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. I would not hesitate to book this trip!

Concierge level service from the hosts while being unobtrusive and reserved. They were lightning fast with perfect recommendations for local hikes and restaurants, and the one time I needed help with a padlock the host picked up before the phone even had a chance to ring and fixed the issue within seconds. Beautiful clean new property, but the highlight is the back porch. Spanning the entire back length of the house, hanging over a beautiful mountain ridge, it offers a fantastic view of the sunset. We will definitely be back.
